Pros +
- the location was great, breakfast was great
- Breakfast and excellent location. Lots of hot water
- The location is awesome and the breakfast is as well!
Cons -
- the shower was very small
- All of the staff was great except one who was working only one night that we were there. We asked how to put the heat on and was told no. Like maybe it was too early in the season for heat? But it got cold at night.. A few hours later when we returned it was even colder and we asked another person working and they simply hit a switch on an electrical box behind the desk and put the heat on. Other than that it was fine.
- The elevator broke down after my first night and it was still not fixed when I left 3 days later. Difficult when you are a senior citizen.

After arriving in Orvieto by train we took the funicular up the hill. It was a short walk uphill to the Hotel Corso. We liked everything about it, the hotel, the location and most of the staff was great.(see comment below) They had an Italian style breakfast that was good too. Our room was spacious and had a nice bathroom and light. We enjoyed sitting out on an adjoining lovely terrace that could be enjoyed by rooms on our floor.

It’s a good location. Although the room is small it had a small balcony that you could go out on overlooking a pretty garden. It made it so the room did not feel small.
The elevator broke down after my first night and it was still not fixed when I left 3 days later. Difficult when you are a senior citizen.
Firm mattress that felt new. Quiet location an easy walk from top of funicular. Reasonable price.
Small shower stall.
We loved this hotel. The pool was large enough to swim some laps. We enjoyed eating breakfast with a view of the olive trees. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable.
The perfect hotel in the heart of the city atop the mountain. Convenient parking (included) and easy access to great restaurants.
Nothing!
Location- parking
Air conditioning could be stronger
Location, comfort, cleanliness Secure parking available.
Could not adjust water temperature in shower despite notifying management. Breakfast was almost entirely sweets ( not unusual in Italy) with commercial sliced cheese and meat and hard-boiled eggs.
The employees were talking loudly early in the morning on the patio, which was outside our room. It was disturbing and woke us up.
Great location. Spacious room and bedroom. Parking nearby. Friendly staff
It’s very good located and the room was clean and comfy. Just thin walls but wasn’t that bad. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Great location near some fantastic restaurants and close to everything.Breakfast was a very good start to the day.
This is an ancient town so obviously the parking is not completely ideal. If I had to pick one thing that would be it. Next time I would just take the train from Rome instead of renting a car and problem solved.
The hotel's location is perfect; it is convenient to visit the city. The room is a bit small。Breakfast would be better if it had some local ingredients。
The hotel has uneven ground and many stairs, which is not very friendly to the elderly and children. There is no kettle in the room, which is inconvenient for making tea by yourself
The location is excellent.
Small and cramped room, tiny shower and very cramped bathroom, very noisy fan, uncomfortable bed.
Very welcoming reception. Well laid out room. Lovely crisp white bed linen. Super clean throughout. Individually controlled aircon (at last!). USB port beside bed. Breakfast choices were good.
No kettle in the room which wasn’t expected but hot water was available downstairs at 7am.
Excellent location and cozy, comfortable room.
No one on staff seemed interested in connecting with us and responding to our questions. The staff was not unfriendly, just indifferent. The breakfast offerings and breakfast space are very blah. Beige. Ugh. Please turn off the music videos! This is a poor companion to breakfast!
Great location, friendly staff, and it was nice to have a bath
No air conditioning. And then the heating came on with no ability to control temperature. We had to sleep with the windows open to avoid suffocation. No kettle in the room to be able to make a cup of tea.
