Westport Coast Hotel, Spa & Leisure

Staff were friendly and location great. The breakfast was one of the best, hotel or restaurant we?ve encountered.

Our room was next to an elevator which was being worked on with drills and hammering. The next morning starting again at 8am. Not sure why you?d rent this room out under those circumstances.

The staff at the spa was very accommodating. The pier and town was walkable on a clear day. Beautiful views of Craugh Patrick!

There was a band my second night at the bar that I could hear in my room on the 1st floor and this made it hard to sleep. The linens feel cheap and the bed wasn’t great. It cost 10€ one way to get to town, would be nice if there was a shuttle service.

Staff very friendly and efficient, we travel to this hotel twice a year and the standard is always excellent.

Dinner in the restaurant was very good! Wine selection was excellent. Breakfast - best omelette we have ever had!! Very quiet location. Very comfortable.

Internet was a bit sketchy.

The room was small but very nice and updated. We had a little balcony but due to weather we really couldn’t use it but enjoyed the view.When we arrived to our room they left us 2 small bottles of wine and cupcakes!The breakfast was great we had a nice table each morning on the new Sundeck which was lovely. There was a buffet with fruit, pastries and other items plus hot breakfast choices. Very delicious and excellent service!The location is great for walking, we walked along the beautiful greenway to the City Center for shopping and lunch. After a friendly shop owner told us about another route by the Historic Westport House back to our hotel. This was a lovely walk as well.

Parking was a bit challenging, we arrived during a rainstorm and couldn’t find a place to park for checkin. My husband double parked so I could run in and ask about parking. I was informed about a small lot in the back of the hotel, luckily we found the last space on an end row. We didn’t move the car during our stay.

I thought the staff was very nice and very helpful. Class all around.

It’s far from town. And for the price of it I would have thought it was going to be a lot nicer. The rooms are very old and need updating

Food downstairs was mediocre. Also was not near downtown. Expensive and spa was booked.

The room was of a good standard and very clean. Prime position overlooking Clew Bay. The top floor restaurant, where breakfast is provided, has excellent views. Good range of breakfast items to choose from. Robert on the front desk was very welcoming at checkout. We ate in the bar where the food was good, but on a Saturday it was fully booked and therefore very noisy. Service was acceptable.

We felt that the room rate was too high for the standard of the hotel as a whole. We arrived for breakfast at the same time as a coach party that were staying and were unfortunately made to feel like we were a bit of an inconvenience by one of the staff members.

Assigned room was noisy on the first floor directly above the front door, coach loading and unloading and sidewalk bar seating. Avoid room 103.

Beautiful location overlooking the bay with a fabulous restaurant and wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking is tight but still accessible.

The room was very warm even with the windows wide open.

Wonderful breakfast served on the top floor with a stunning view across the bay.Would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend to family and friends.

Slight confusion when booking. We paid extra for free parking and wifi. But when we arrived at the hotel the wifi was free for all (unsecured) and the car park was free.

The location and the hotel are good

There was a large noisy group in the restaurant celebrating a birthday. This should have taken place in a private setting, other guests were bothered by the noise and are not interested in speeches of other guests

The breakfast and the view of the restaurant was amazing. I also liked the lake in front of the hotel very much.

Our room didn’t have a view and the time for using the pool and sauna was limited.

Breakfast was just ok, wanted to charge extra for salmon with your breakfast, also there where no pastries to have. Car parking was also limited and very small spaces

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Westport Coast Hotel. The staff went above and beyond to help with any problems we had. The beds are comfortable, and the shower pressure is great. The food upstairs was delicious, with wonderful views. We'll be back.

The only complaint would be the wifi. Didn't work in some parts of hotel.

Didn't get a chance to eat in roof top restaurant as is only open at weekends. 30 min walk from Westport centre
