I liked everything

The Staff were excellent ' very attentive to the small detail ' nothing was a problem and they were always there to help should we have needed anything.The room was huge and the bed so comfy and warm. The restaurant food was top class as was the service ' we would recommend the Lakeside manor hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break with great service .

The property was very clean, the meals excellent, the staff top notch.

My concern was for the pillows but then when I travel at home, US, I bring my own pillow. Hotel pillows are notorious for being flat. ?

Staff very friendly and helpful. I had to do a zoom meeting and they helped me to get a board room for the meeting.

My room was on the side of the main road and not the lakeside.

Excellent breakfast that was cooked to order and of a standard far superior to buffet type. Staff were excellent and very happy to assist with any query. Great location. Sunset on the lake is postcard perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was very good. Meal the night before was excellent. The room itself was spacious and there was plenty of space for my luggage. The best thing by far though was the large bed which was very comfortable and meant I got a great sleep. I liked the power outlets beside each bedside locker too. And the windows were well insulated because when I closed them i could not hear the traffic going past at all.

Unfortunately the elevator was out of action for my stay, which was annoying because I had to negotiate a flight of stairs with my large suitcase. The room was a bit of a maze to get to. Also, and this is an important point for a large guy like me, the toilet in the room was one of those that comes out of the wall. It groaned and creaked when I sat on it for the first time, which did not fill me with confidence. I ended up using the one down the hall (adjacent to the small function room) instead.

Staff were extremely helpful specifically the receptionist

The downstairs was outdated and parking facilities poor.

Great room, spacious, great wifi. Great comfy bed. Balcony with a view. Fabulous grounds. Breakfast excellent. Staff lovely.

Very clean, lovely friendly staff, nice bar area. Room was very spacious, bathroom was v clean and spacious.

No footpath all the way from the town was a bit inconvenient but we got a taxi.

Staff are very friendly, dinner was really good. View of the lake was amazing and the beds where comfy

Breakfast was lovely and staff very nice. Didn't care for where or room was situated we were at the back corner of building and the constant hum from the factory above was a little annoying, we had hoped for a room with the view of the lake which was one of the reasons we picked hotel, a a paying guest we were disappointed about that tbh. Overall staff could not be faulted very nice but I'd only stay again if we didn't have a view of road and cattle with the added factory but a room with a decent view of the scenery and the lake.

The view looking out on the lake and the excellent surroundings. And evening meal was excellent good choices on the menu. And excellent bar staff.

Overall good. Staff were great and very friendly. Fish and chips were great.No water in the bedroom which I would have been basic especially if you need to take medication. No orange juice for breakfast. Had to go searching for a spoon for cereal.

Beautiful location. Only drawback there was no footpath to walk into the town which is about one /two km

Clean, with an old-school refined charm. Staff were good fun, efficient, and very welcoming - hotel is a well-oiled machine! Our rooms were ready early which was great as we were heading into day 2 of a wedding and needed a place to chill out for a few hours beforehand. Breakfast was v good, lake view was a treat to wake up to, and the coffee shop next door is fantastic.

Minor note, but for the price we paid it would have been great to have some bottled water/basic refreshments in the room

The staff are exceptional all local staff with excellent humour and great craic so friendly and nice really best staff ever

Place is a little run down needs attention to detail faded blue cushions on way to reception with cigarette burns on it No sign to direct you to reception Front of hotel is facing a stunning lake But if you arrive at dark it’s confusing and we had to drive around to see what we though was the front of hotel was actually the back of the hotel Stunning glass all over hotel some cracked Frayed curtains and stained towels in room Outside needs attention Replant the old flower boat it would look stunning Kids bikes and old bits of pallets in view Beautiful location and amazing staff Food is lovely cocktails are amazing ! Just needs a little tlc to match the €160 a night

Our second time at this hotel and it’s just brilliant. Staff are lovely, hotel is clean and warm. Food and view is amazing. Will definitely be back.
