Hotel Olympie

The rooms a clean, and updated with a chalet classic rustic charm. The hotel is well situated near a ski hill in Sv. Peter, a 5 minute drive from Špindlerův Mlýn. The breakfast was great with good selection and great views. The staff was great.

The location is a bit away from the action in Špindlerův Mlýn, but some people may like that. Otherwise nothing else.

Here’s a review you can post on Booking:We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The view of the mountains is absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect—very close to the ski slopes. The service was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the wellness area with the pool and sauna. They provided bathrobes, and everything was exceptionally clean.Our room was warm, clean, and comfortable—just what we needed after a day on the slopes.In the evening, we dined at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious, far exceeding our expectations. Breakfast was also great, with a variety of tasty options and a gorgeous view of the mountains.

In snowy weather, it’s a good idea to have snow chains for your car to avoid any issues getting out. We didn’t face any problems, but it’s something to keep in mind.The parking area is not very large, though it seemed to have enough space for everyone during our stay.

Beautiful hotel, super comfy beds, nice views, friendly staff, good breakfast.

The noise insulation is quite poor, we could hear kids shouting till late night. We would also appreciate some machine with snacks available to buy 24/7, hotel is isolated and if you want to buy snacks, the bar only has two (!) options (one kind of chips and almonds) till 23:00. note: the hotel is on the hill and in winter you HAVE to have snow chains to get there.

Well… first rooms are not soundproof at all. The whole night we heard people talking then snoring like he was sleeping next to me. At 6 in the morning the breakfast started to be prepared and we heard kitchen. So no sleep at all. Next thing is the strong smell of fried food in the room as all smells from kitchen go into the room via window. I guess it is not applicable for winter, but summer months 100%. The pool in the spa is cold even in summer. So was not much to do there. Overall I didn’t feel like stuff cared about us when we complained on the noise. The only solution was offered to us is to call police. Lol. This is not something I would like to do when coming to relax for the weekend.

Great stay and the room was nice, as expected the bed was comfy, breakfast in the morning was pretty decent with all the bells and whistles.Some things for cereal and some things for hot food.

Only down side was the wellness spar itself, it was great with a nice small pool to submerge in and the sauna was big enough to fit at least 8 people so plenty of room, but.. through booking it said that it was included.. it was not.. we had to pay on top of our room.Booking.com featured it in the description and apon asking at the front desk it was a no with a response of “yeah on booking they can’t put it separately” as in can’t pick to include or not. But other than that I would say the whole experience is great and well worth the visit.

The staff weren’t very nice or helpful. We asked on the reception to clean our room around 1.40pm but we were told that their cleaning staff might have already left, when we came back the room was untouched and they didn’t even provide us with fresh towels so we had to use the wet ones from before at night. Earlier this day the cleaning staff tried to just open our door without knocking or asking if they could enter, when we have opened the door they had already left. We also asked on the reception if we could check out late as their check out time is super early - 10 a.m , they answered simply - no, because they have to clean the rooms until 2p.m. (Which is 4 hours of time) without any hesitation or will to make a comfortable compromise.

View from the room is great. Breakfast was really nice

On their website they mentioned “free wellness for all our guests” which isn’t true in reality for reservations through Booking. But this wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Room was a bit dirty.

the room was decent size, breakfast had variation but after being there for 4 nights, same variety every day with nothing new - but still very good value for the money. The location was close to centrum of the city so that was fine but had issues with the cleaningless of the road since it was snowing hard and then froze. All in all, I would go back to the hotel - really enjoyed the stay there + the food in the restaurant was quite good.

road covered in snow - was cleaned but not anti slipping material was used so I got stuck with the car a few times untill i installed chains on the tires.

Nice room, comfortable and rustic in keeping with the area. Great food at the restaurant as well.

Not exactly central so it's a taxi or drive to get there.

Pavel and Denisa work the bar and restaurant and were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean as was the wellness area

Cooked breakfast was a little lacking in quality but overall the options were good

Everything was awesome, from the start to the end.. the place itself is new and really nice looking, the restaurant and staff is great, the pool and whirpool are clean and breakfast... awesome, we were sad that we stayed only for one night, we will definitely come back!

I don't have anything negative to say about this place.

Breakfast, cleanliness of the room.

The temperature in our room was really low. We have turned on the heating but almost nothing has changed. So during all our stay, we were feeling cold. Second disappointment is the spa, we have to pay an extra 35€ for two people for the sauna and spa. There were a lot of people, the second sauna was cold, and all people have to wait for a place in the first one. It's not worth the money. The third one is dinner, we have to wait for two dishes for more than 45 minutes...
