The location was great, quite place

The bowling and the pool were closing too soon, 21:00 and 21:30. Mayne there was a place to keep it open until 23:00

The property is well located, people are very nice. The amenities in the hotel are good, nice swimming pool, bowling, etc. breakfast was good and diverse.

For a 4**** hotel I would expect the rooms to be a bit better. Bathroom looked very old. Fridge was only working when the room card was on which was a challenge to keep drinks cool as the heating in the hotel is extremely high.

Staff could speak basic English.Breakfast items could have a name in English.Pool could be 2 degrees warmer.

Lovely view and a extremly comfortable bed for sleeping only. There was even a nice couch in our room - which was a nice bonus. The room itself was very well setup. Not mention the lovely sheets and pillows.

The lock was on backwards on the bathroom door, you could only lock it from the outside. Also the bathroom was poorly set up for such a lavish hotel - there was a very annoying echo in the due to it. Also the hangers in there were not so easy to use.It got very hot in the room, while we were sleepin, but was probaly due to the heatwave - for those reasons I'd recommend adding some air nets to the balcony door or at least the windows

The staff speaks mostly Czech and German, so beware of that. One of the reception ladies wasn't the nicest but not rude

the hotel was clean and modern, very pleasant to stay at and beds were very comfortable. the view from our window was truly the most wonderful view in Spindleruv Mlyn. don't get the balcony rooms, trees are blocking the view. all staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful.

we really did not enjoy our experience at the "lobby bar" it has interior and menu from the 90s and prices like in the centre of prague, but for bad quality drinks. the staff in the bar was unfriendly and unproffesional compared to all the other wonderful staff. hotel was seriously lacking in good coffee and vegan food and vegan milk option. vegetarian options were good, but if you're allergic to milk, you will suffer.

Good sized room and comfy beds, great breakfast. Walkable to the town and its shops and restaurants. Great to be able to park my motorcycle in the garage.

The swimming pool facilities are badly arranged. There are toilets near the pool but the only showers are through a door and down a corridor and are not private. There is no way to shower and change easily after a swim. Would be best to add private showers to the toilets next to the pool.

Great hotel and friendly staff! Breakfast was delicious, although the dishes were the same every day. At check-in we asked for a change of room, the request was honoured! The rooms are clean.

The only thing we didn't like about the hotel was the heating) It was very hot at night and we couldn't turn the temperature down on our own. We had to take out the key card and switch off the lights in the room, then the battery stopped working)

Nice little hotel. The staff is friendly and very well organized. We liked the food. The chef was always there to greet the guests. The room and bathroom were clean, probably recently renovated. An extra bed for our child was a normal sized bed,which we loved. The room for 3 has a decent size. Prices for all the services are reasonable. We enjoyed our stay.

The bed was comfortable but the pillowcases were too soft..We couldn't figure out how the heating works. It did not work in the afternoon (to dry our ski gloves) and during the night was too warm in the room. Most of the staff don't speak good English. They are polite and try their best. The pool is not big, the water is 27C. Wellness area ok.

The Wellness centrum is lovely, has amazing athmosphere and is really clean. You can have most of the time pool and wellnes for yourself (at least in summer) and most of the stuff was lovely.I posted a video from the hotel on my IG if you want to see: @tyna_music

Confort in rooms is pretty poor. Bed was unconfortable and the room looks really old. I would also apreciate more cleaning in the bathroom.

Hmmmm almost nothing

Honestly this hotel is really bad quality far for what you pay for. Bad quality rooms ( expept the bed comfort ), small rooms , we are settled on the top floor , bad finishing, no bar at all, bowling Is very very bad quality . DONT even try !!!. Staff is not very welcoming. Remember we are the guests and we do not owe anything to the owners or the staff, but we felt like. Overall Spindlerof Mlyn seems to be a place for Czech People with money who love their country ( nothing wrong with this), but far too rated for tourist who do not share the same values. It is double at least overpriced comparing to Austiria , where everything is miles better ( will not go into details). However I must. complement two restaurant places in the resort namely LEBEDA and https://goo.gl/maps/UqLbJuBCbn9FxvnX9The. second one especially a superb restaurant and service. ONE last thing, do not believe tin the photos Astra Hotel posted.Ladt biut not least, the price we paid was the same as Savoy Hotel due to have good SPA, but PLEASE believe me then SPA at Astra Hotel I not worth at all Savoy is much more worth it!!!!Feedback is very important and I would like to share my experience being very disappointed by our stay at Hotel Astra Spimdlerov Mlyn.Kind regardsS...n

Breakfast was perfect. But the main advantage of the hotel is welness + massage. Location is good: you can go by foot to the center of the town and also it's close the the main Medvedin ski zone (lift is close to the hotel Harmony).

there is only small criticism about hotel, rooms were a little bit cold, heater did not work at our room, but our families stayed another room they didnt have this problem, their rooms heater worked.

Decent breakfast selection. Very nice and accommodating staff. Rooms and ski lockers are a bit outdated, but functional. The spa/wellness area is a true gem.

location quite nice

sauna is not included. and it’s only possible to visit if you pay for the ticket that is allow to use sauna in next 3 hours. i planned to used it after the swimming pool. but in that case it’s extremely expensive to pay 15 euros for the warm room in 15 min. it will be cool to inform in advance that the sauna option is not included in the reservation

All of the staff were friendly including Denis. So many highlights: great location near the bus stop, super comfy bed and the views from the window were spectacular. Good variety at the breakfast buffet and the spa was great.

-Nice hotel with big, high floor rooms and new furniture.- I didn't see anithing old in the hotel (contrary to many other reviews)- lots of parking place- Wellness zone is very nice.- Breakfast was also nice with all standard options, maybe even better than standard 3-star hotels breakfasts. - Ski-bus stops close.It runs like once in a hour.- Nice view from the room and balkony- as other reviews tell, it is not so easy walk to the city, but it is realy nice view from rooms and we liked the location- solid price/quality ratio

-Some stupid bookshelf above bed - ideal for kicking with head many times- first night dinner was ok, but second night only two options from the same animal source. I would expect al least two meat kinds. Also something from fish or vegetarian would be nice.

Staff is awful.My husband was ill and sweating.I asked to change the bedding sheets, they charged extra money and also yelled at me that the bed is all wet and we have to go home.Actually it sound like this: "i check tomorrow, if bed wet, you go home". I mean, srsly?? They are even do not speak english properly. Instead of offering you any help, they just telling you have to leave.Also the wellness zone, some woman just was sneakong around and yelling at us to take off the swimsuits, and teling us if we wont take them off, we have to leave wellness zone, even if we paid for it.Disaster.
