- This place is stunning! Gorgeous hotel, the room felt like a palace. Bonus: Breakfast included. Fabulous stay!!!!!
- The rooms are exceptionally large and equipped with numerous conveniences. The staff are universally friendly, charming, and accommodating. The view is phenomenal, and the good noise proofing in the rooms combined with the quiet atmosphere of the lake makes for a serene stay.
- Nice Gardens - Nice bed
Cons -
- Well, I needed a room for 3 adults: myself and two adult children. There were apparently no rooms available to accommodate our trio so I had to book two rooms. The double room could have EASILY accommodated the 3 of us. I’m a little disappointed to have had to pay for 2 rooms when I only needed one.
- There didn't appear to be any in-room cooling, and while the temperature at Lough Eske seldom gets unbearably hot, I sleep best in a very cool room and it would have been nice to have the option to drop the temperature by a couple degrees.
- My favourite Drink - Bulmers - not available waited 25 minutes for my tean and coffee at breakfast paid over 1200 euro for three rooms and you still wanted me to pay for the milk for my tea in the room -

Friendly staff, good breakfast, gorgeous setting
No gym, no a/c, Netflix not connected to the TV
Beautiful and comfortable accommodation in a lovely remote setting. The breakfast was excellent, the service outstanding. Our room was huge and very comfortable, with a fridge and nespresso. The jetted tub a real plus. Shower outstanding. Wish we could have this type of accommodation for the rest of our journey.
Not a thing.
Breakfast was excellent and the attention to detail by the staff was commendable. Excellent selection of really fresh food and a real feeling that the staff took pride in their work.
We would have liked a later dinner reservation and as the bar wasn't particularly busy we feel that more effort might have been made to accommodate this.
Loved the feel of the place. Food was excellent!Staff was wonderful!
Would have liked more windows in the room to cool it off.
We ate in the Bar, food was excellent. Cocktails where great and staff where very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was unreal!
Every aspect of our stay was excellent. The room was very spacious and beautifully appointed. Everyone we encountered on the staff were both professional and personable. The location is stunning.
Our room was magnificent from the handmade chocolates to the bath made for two. We loved our stay with you and enjoyed the beautiful lake shore walk.
Location, staff and dinner in the dining room. Breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful room and bathroom, complimentary cookies and milk. Lovely staff and bar. Breakfast was delicious and had gorgeous view of Lough Eske.
Rooms are fabulous, as is the food and service. We had an amazing stay and the twin rooms are so spacious, it was really luxurious.
No leisure facilities which is very surprising for a hotel of its standard.
Exceptional
I was charged 275 Sterling but on booking .com my booking was for 266
The staff were so welcoming amd friendly, amazing room and the food was delicious. The room was amazing and spacious with an amazing bathroom with an amzong spa bath.
Beautiful setting. quiet lakeside property. a hidden gem
i liked everything about the property, the only thing missing is a boat, but that would have ruined the peaceful setting.
