Pros +
- The location was great, the hotel was clean, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing , a full Irish breakfast. I would stay again and recommend it highly. The staff were helpful and welcoming, great stuff and thx for a wonderful experience.
- Pretty location. Staff very helpful. Food good.
- As I had to leave very early( McGinley coach at 7:15) and so couldn´t have the usual breakfast, John had prepared lots of fruit, which ha wrapped and gave me for the journey. He was very helpful and friendly with the luggage. Thank you so much
Cons -
- I had asked for a ground floor room and got it, but it faced the main road, which is quite noisy, especially on a Saturday night.I liked the well equipped bathroom, but I think a rubber mat for the shower would be useful, as without such it gets slippery.
- Hotel needs bit of TLC
- Hotel was grubby. Needs updated and a thorough clean.

Great location for the mountains Staff were so friendly and went out of their way , nothing was too much trouble
Room was basic but had everything I needed
Good parking good value good breakfast
Very friendly staff. Big comfy room and bed. Clean and well maintained and a tasty breakfast. They also speak fluent Gaeilge which is brilliant. The bar food was very tasty too.
My whole experience staying here was wonderful. The ladies at breakfast were very friendly and we spoke about our hiking adventures. The breakfast was delicious, especially the musli they provided. I stayed in a single room for two nights, and it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Everything worked including the hot shower etc The food in the bar was great, and the location was a short car ride to my hiking adventure to Mount Errigal. I had a lovely experience, and I am hopeful to be back soon to explore the area.

Good location, good breakfast, helpful staff, lots of nice scenic places around this part of north Donegal.
A nice hotel in a stunning location. The staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. The room is compact but perfect for a night or two.
I have been here on numerous occasions and have left reviews in the past.If it wasn't good I wouldn't return.I always found it a pleasant stay.I note some of the "picky" reviews left which are frankly unbelievable. It is a three star hotel, immaculately clean in a quiet village. It is fully supported by the local people which says it all.The staff are very friendly and it is great to see young staff employed who are a pleasure.Enjoy your stay as you won't be disappointed.I never have.I drive three hours to get there.Well worth it.
Very clean & very friendly staff. We stayed over Christmas and the hotel was toasty warm
A little dated. Reception area was uninviting no place to sit and read or relax
Location was nice, breakfast was very good, rooms were comfortable
Good location for exploring the area.
Extremely noisy heating system - the decision was noise or heat, unfortunately the radiator in the bathroom couldn’t be turned off, because the regulator was too close to the wall. All appliances in the bathroom either broken or in need of some serious attention-not TLCPoorly insulated windows (traffic noise).Breakfast reheated.
