Mount Errigal Hotel, Conference & Leisure Centre

The room was perfect and so was breakfast. The dinner was lovely too. Staff at reception area were lovely.

The service at dinner was terrible. The place wasn't busy at all, waited ages for someone to come and take our food order. We were a group of 7 people. Once we finished our meal, they never cleared our table. After a while we had to actually ask for a dessert menu, it was not offered to us after our main course. We also had to go up to the bar to get our drinks each time.

It was close to the venue the conference I was attending was.

The hotel is outdated. The room was extremely small, had a very dirty carpet, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The hotel is rated as 4 star, but 2 star would be a more accurate rating. The staff at the dinner restaurant were unfriendly, the bar staff outright walked past me and ignored me. I literally had to follow them around to place an order. The hotel is outrageously overpriced for what it looks like and what it is grossly lacking in. The photos on the website are not an accurate representation of what the hotel is really like.

Lack of parking. Size of bathroom and inadequate space to place toiletries.

It’s nice and spacious, parking was right at the front.

We parked right at the entry and after going up 2 flights of stairs, found it was the wrong end, better signage would have solved the problem. Our main concern was the towels, my mother is particularly sensitive to odor and she said she felt the towels are either still damp when stored or not changed after the last guest.

Leisure facilities very good...Lovely food in the bar..Staff very friendly..Lovely breakfast also!!

Location to the event I was attending. Pool and sauna was very nice. Staff were excellent.

More USB points for charging would help.

The pool facilities were good and the bathroom/showers were lovely

2 completely different sized rooms ( paid same price) and one room ( half the size of the other room) had the oldest bed- which had the squeakiest mattress and most uncomfortable pillows. Renovations are taking place which is fine but no excuse for the appalling service at breakfast. Had to figure out ourselves where to go ( behind a wall) to get the hot food and we set there and ate almost all of our breakfast before one of only 2 staff members, who were too busy setting and clearing tables in an almost empty room, had to be asked to get our tea/ coffee. Service was so bad.

Place is beautiful, food was excellent, staff at reception were helpful and friendly .Great location and parking .

The leisure facility needs updated lockers and no sign or info regarding needing €2 coins for lockers !Felt stressed trying to find a working locker as most were broken or didn’t have a key with a wrist band attached so nowhere to safe hold my key when swimming.Staff at leisure centre were unhelpful and had to join the queue again to ask for change for lockers , which I should’ve been advised about when I first spoke to them and requested towels before entering the changing room .Maybe put some notices up at reception and some info in rooms so we can take necessary coins with us when going to swim

The staff were welcoming and accomdating felt at home ? l came with my son he had a great time in the pool.

All staff are so friendly, large cleN and comfortable room, great bar area.

Breakfast was spot on we liked that we had a choice

We think in our room the tv was to far away stuck in the corner

The location of the hotel was great.

The hotel swimming pool water was so bad that we got chlorine rash and also the utility water was dirty. Bathrooms were also not that great.

The property was well located for us as we were heading to Errigal and the North section of WAW. The property itself was spacious, clean and homely.

The bathroom of the room is tight fitting but this did mean the room was spacious so I understand why.

Dated furniture and interiorBeing told by abrupt manager at entrance to breakfast room as I hadn't booked breakfast I'd have to walk back to reception to get a receipt for a coffee, return to restaurant only to have to walk back through to bar for machine coffee. Poorly organised set up really.

We’ve been twice now and absolutely love it. The food down in the bar is phenomenal and such good value also. We definitely need to make our stays yearly ?

This is always our stop in Letterkenny.I love the friendly atmosphere,the wonderful staff and the food and cocktails.Nothing is too much forvthis hotel+staff.It's incredibly comfortable+always spotlessly clean...and the bedrooms are much bigger than sverage.We asked to change rooms because of extreme noise next door.No problem, said the receptionist..and that was it.Smooth changeover in 10 mins.

Absolutely nothing.This is why we always go here.We have stayed the odd time in other hotels..but,this is the best..by a long shot..for all the readons I mentioned above.

Great staff and spacious room. Clean but tired from the shower hose that almost fell apart, lights not working to rubber seals in the windows not keeping any noise out. With a bit of maintenance and attention it could be great.

When booking and added two children it automatically selected two rooms, so with doing this again two more times to make sure I had the correct details it still select two rooms when adding on two Childen I assumed it was for booking purposes. Unfortunately it's the bad system and it did book me two rooms so the stay ended up quiet expensive on behalf of booking.com.We went down for breakfast and there was next too nothing left, the kids literally got 2 sausages each, they already had the cereals clingfilmed up and put away and we still had to pay the full price

Switches for lights were all mixed up and bathroom fan was difficult to switch off. The TV was very far away. Beds were very comfortable and the place was clean.Breakfast was a small selection though it was nice to try for one day. Great staff though. Location was good.
