About
Dating back to the 1700s, Hotel & Residenza 100 Torri is set in 2 connecting mansions in the historical center of Ascoli Piceno, a 5-minute walk from Piazza del Popolo. It offers free WiFi, and elegant interiors with antique furniture and travertine marble. Most rooms have wood-beamed ceilings and parquet floors. Some also have their own balcony or come with furnishings from the family's collection or original works of art. Guests at the 100 Torri can enjoy breakfast daily on the glass-roofed patio. Afternoon tea and aperitifs are served in the lounge with fireplace.

Pros +
- The staff were outstanding and went out of their way to make sure all your needs were met. When no taxis were available to take us to the train station., the manager drove us herself. The hotel is lovey. It is renovated with modern rooms but also has kept the old arched ceilings. It is the perfect mix of old world charm and modern convenience. It has a very good restaurant as well.
- Breakfast was wonderful- we enjoyed the variety and freshness of what was offered (a welcome break from the typical/simple breakfast at a local bar offered by many B&Bs). Parking nearby worked out very well and we appreciated the friendly and reliable communication with the front desk.
- Staff were amazing. Location was perfect for exploring Ascoli Piceno. Breakfast was awesome and Serena made the best Italian coffee we have had. Quiet street and a very comfortable bed.
Cons -
- It really had no short comings.
- A minor aspect re: this time of year (April): the rooms were quite warm from winter heating so it felt stuffy. We opened the window (which usually I hesitate to do overnight because of possible mosquitos)- but that worked out fine. With air conditioning in other months, this would not be an issue.
- I want to give it a perfect review, but the heating/cooling system in our room did not work. It was a stifling 26 degrees Celsius and we could not adjust the temperature, and we really tried. This is a 4 star hotel and I didn’t have this issue in 3 star hotels in Italy. Staff were very sympathetic, but could do nothing to help. Also, shower door did not close properly and water leaked out. There was a bit of mould on the door casing and the emergency pull cord, which means water seepage is an unaddressed issue.

Great comfortable room with attentive staff. The WiFi was unreliable.
Friendly helpful staff. Quiet and clean, near the centre
Private parking a bit tricky to find and get in
The staff is GREAT. So helpful with parking and just everything. We had a small issue with the mini fridge and she ended up putting a big bucket of ice in the room without ring asked. Sorry we didn’t get their names but those two women are amazing
Comfortable, clean room. Wonderful staff!
clean room
Nobody at the reception desk when checking out, 6:00 a.m. They know this because I asked to book a taxi. As early in the morning, they promised to prepare a breakfast box for me but they forgot. Moreover they ignore and do not response my message saying disappointments.
Absolutely stunning as regards rooms, breakfast and staff kindness.
Via Mazzoni to be reached requires a short car (not over 4.3 meters) because of narrowing at the intersection of Via Mazzoni and Via Cinelli
location was great.was hard to find though but a staff member came out to find us in the near by street we were at and guides us to hotel.loved the feel and design of hotel very boutique breakfast was fresh and great the staff member remembered our coffee style super friendly and wanted our stay to be perfect
the only point would be that there was no cool air conditioning for the facility to the room even though booking.com said that it had.it only has a heating facility so lucky it was not hot weather.
Lovely location in the medieval area, very comfortable large room in a very beautiful building. Very helpful staff and a nice breakfast.
The hotel was beautiful as well as our room. The staff led by Jessica was superb and should be highly praised for being so helpful and cheerful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
If you drive a car, parking was difficult to find at first but the hotel and garage staff were so friendly and accommodating
Great Location, superb Breakfast, very kind people, highly recommended
Modern, quiet and comfortly furbished room in an ancient house. Outstanding and varied breakfast with delicious coffee. In the hotel's building there is also an excellent restaurant to have dinner.
The location of the hotel is its main advantage. Size of the room was acceptable. Breakfast was good although it could improve.
In a way, it is a hotel in a very old building and this has some consequences in the access to the lobby or the size of the room.
Beautiful conversion of a characterful old property. Delightful staff with Jessica especially helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent breakfast
Bathrooms a little small but perfectly adequate and modern.
The staff was wonderful and friendly. Jessica assisted me with a taxi and a walking tour in English. Room and property was clean. Breakfast was nice. The assorted cakes and the croissants were delicious. We enjoyed our terrace. We changed rooms and really liked the suite. The location was perfect.
Immaculate and clean . Good location and bit difficult to park but not impossible
Location was great. Accommodation was very clean and very comfortable bed
Staff very friendly. Great orange juice at breakfast. Quiet.
No comfy common areas to relax in; no outside space-courtyard -which is shown in the photos and was a main reason for booking.
