Pros +
- Location, quality. It was delightfully kitsch in decoration
- Great location in clean, quiet part of Palermo. Felt safe as a solo traveler. Walk to seaport or teatro. Beautiful art decor, good breakfast, warm and helpful staff. Good value!
- Staff were easy to communicate with. Staff were helpful in setting alarms for wake-up as we had an early morning flight from Palermo. Staff were ready to give recommendations for places to visit and eat. Balcony was a nice added touch. Art is pervasive and adds a unique touch to every room and parlor.
Cons -
- Minor points: weak water power from the shower. Wifi was weak from time to time. Elevator failed for two 24 hour periods during our stay.. Overall no big deal.
- Small elevator was most likely shoe-horned into the existing structure. Extensive TV channel selection, but all in Italian. Bar was dark, even in the middle of the day. Not a lot of easy street parking options, even in the off season.
- There were ants absolutely everywhere and in our bed. The shower head was broken, and the AC barely worked, we tried to move rooms but they didn’t let us and were basically shoved up in the attic .

It was a pretty building but that’s about all I can say. There were ants absolutely everywhere and in our bed. The shower head was broken, the AC barely worked.

It was a good location, however the room was small, dirty, and run down. The shower was clogged and the room had ants everywhere.
The hallways were dark - lights were motion activated and did not always work. The elevator only fit one person and was very old.
Staff was very helpful. Room was comfortable however there was not enough places to put our suitcases so we had to use the provided seating which left us no where to sit except on the bed. Shower floor was very slippery and the staff was so very accommodating in purchasing a bath mat for us to help with that. Room needs drawers for clothing.
Very small lift for managing luggage. No drawers in room. No where to set luggage limiting room seating.
Location, friendliness of staff , rooms were clean.
No way to keep out maid service. Went to front desk because maid came in without permission. Some of my medication went missing. I immediately went down stairs and told the desk and told her I didn’t want service. She stated okay. I left the next morning to go out and put all medication and personal stuff away because I had a feeling she would come in again. We returned to find that the maid did in fact come into our room with out permission again.
Excellent service! They could not have been more gracious and helpful! The decor was artistic and inviting! The location was super! The breakfast was too! Comfortable and convenient! It was a good value! I had a Perfect Stay here!
? Location.? Friendly staff.? Very clean room.
?Small bathroom.? Poor breakfast.
Small hotel very clean
Small simple
excellent location, good room, fairly comfortable bed, good breakfast, very helpful staff.
The bed was not ideal for me as I am very tall
Great breakfast and comfortable beds.
Shower was tiny and gushed water.
Location
Bathroom to small. Had to change rooms after first night. Tiny lift could only use with someone close. Breakfast room to small for number of guests. Very poor choice.
The hotel is well situated only a short walk from the Teatro Massimo and an easy walk to the centre. The man at reception was very helpful and friendly. Our room was big and comfortable. There is a bar with a few drinks (the selection is very limited) so we enjoyed a drink on the terrace. Breakfast was buffet style and there was a good selection. Highly recommended.
The only negative was the toilet which was in a tiny space next to the shower. It was quite hard to use!
Lovely building, peaceful location (by Palermo standards) on a square, balcony on our room. Breakfast was available early to enable us to catch our train comfortably.
Would have been good to have a kettle in the room.
Good bkfstc staff great love the classic hotel
Shower could use a shower head that is the combination type that has one flexible hose that allows it to be hand held
Breakfast very good more fresh fruit if possible would be niceStaff excellentLocation is close to everything
Everything great
I had originally booked for 6 nights due to a issue with dates I had to extend for a further 2 nights I managed to sort my issue in Catania so I informed this booking and said to bad you be charged these 2 nights I informed them on my second night I was now only staying 6 plus I questioned why there is a different rate for each night response was it just is worst hotel experience ever
Friendly staff. Safe , quiet, convenient
