    • great hotel - really friendly staff, convenient location, clean and spacious room and delicious breakfast! worth the value and would stay again.

    Cons -

    • Hair dryer didn’t work
    • There is a bar down the side street next to the hotel that can be loud late a night for those rooms facing that street.

Location was perfect. So close to everything. As a single woman I felt very safe there. The room was fantastic. Loved the windows opening unto balcony and unto quiet square.

The hotel is in a perfect location to walk to all the sights and restaurants in the historic center of Palermo. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with a wide selection of traditional breakfast foods including Sicilian specialities.

There is a bar down the side street next to the hotel that can be loud late a night for those rooms facing that street.

Spacious, clean room. Great location, short distance from the central train station. Included breakfast was amazing.

A bit noisy from street crowds on Saturday night.

    9KatherinePosted on: 10-2-2024

The breakfast was a nice surprise. The location was perfect for seeing the sites and getting around by foot. The rooms and common areas were nice and clean. In general (with one exception), the staff were exceptionally welcoming and lovely.

It was a little noisy but I think that is what happens when you stay in the Kalsa district.

Everything was great. It was extra clean and very spacious. Nice staff, it was a great experience!

The only thing is it was a little loud in the street but that is the price to pay for a good location. The shutters also let in a fair amount of light. Other than that it

Clean and comfortable room, looked new (sep 24).Reception staff were functional, canteen staff very helpful.Great central location, walking distance to all of old town. Tucked away from Via Roma.Good price for city centre

Can be a bit noisy in the evening, especially at weekends.

The female staff on the front desk was excellent and very helpful! Breakfast is well done and tasty! Will definitely stay again!

The night shift staff was not very helpful in giving directions!

This was a newly renovated hotel and we were pleasantly impressed by the room size, modern style and cleanliness. Very pleasant and helpful staff

Breakfast options were terrific, food was fresh and staff was very polite and welcoming. The day desk clerk was very helpful with directions to the train station. Very comfortable bedding.

The night clerk was not especially welcoming, but he was helpful with sorting out details.

The location is perfect, on a relatively quiet square but very close to all tourist attractions and many bars and restaurants. The service is very friendly, the breakfast is nice and the rooms are comfortable.

Pillows and mattresses could be more comfortable. But they were good enough. I have no other suggestions.

From the outset the Best Western Team were fabulous. The team had arrange a taxi from the airport, however our flight was continually delayed. When we arrived they had arranged for the taxi to be there for us. The hotel was immaculately clean, each member of the team were so pleasant and helpful. We had two wonderful nights and slept like logs. The hotel location is excellent for getting around and a short walk to all the main attractions and train station, there are many great and reasonably priced restaurants and bars nearby with a great vibe to them. Let me tell you we have stayed in many hotels, however the breakfast was by far the best we have had. The selection and quality of the food was amazing as were the breakfast team. We had a great stay, from the wonderful reception team, cleaning team, breakfast chef and breakfast team, they all went out their way to make our stay a very enjoyable and memorable experience. I would have no hesitation to recommend the hotel, it was well managed and did more than expected, great value for money and should really be a five start hotel. Many thanks to you all.

Central location with 24-hour manned reception desk. Situated close to some great bars and restaurants. Walking distance to many main sites and to access local transport. Warm welcome from friendly staff. Clean, good-sized room with plenty of storage. Super walk in shower, quality of towels, and very comfortable bed.

Due to central locality near bars and restaurants, some noise from outside the hotel at night but that is to be expected.

Room was beautiful and great location, bed was super comfy also!

    Spacious clean room and bathroom

Can be noisy outside late at night

Spacious room with a view of the Piazza, good breakfast, firm bed and comfortable pillows, fluffy and white towels, large sink with borders for cosmetics, double insulation windows, proximity to monuments and churches in historical centre. Helpful, efficient and friendly staff (alphabetical order): Julia – for providing useful highlights of interesting places to visitLuciano – for bringing my luggage to the car for the airport; Manuel – for briefing upon arrival and facilitating transport arrangements for very early departure to the airport and allowing me to use his personal mobile to call the service provider; Valentina – for being an excellent translator for the recipes provided by Rosi; Vicenzo – for kindly providing towels and extra pillows late in the evening; Rosi – for kindly providing 2 recipes and a breakfast pack for my early departure, and for the good service of the breakfast team; and Grosso and Lily – the kind and well-behaved dogs of the neighbors patiently waiting for their breakfast. Bravo and many thanks to the team!

Although the hotel is in a quiet area during the day, there were concerts in the restaurant across the hotel during the late evening. An inner room facing the courtyard albeit without a view will be more quiet at night.

Very good selection of items for breakfast. The staff were very helpful with dining recommendations.

Difficult to criticise anything. The stay was marred by a lot of heavy rain but the staff helped us to deal with it.
