The location and staff helpfulness. The hotel is located very close to the center of Palermo, so it was easy to walk to sights, restaurants and the waterfront. The staff was very helpful having a nearby garage pick up the car. And return it on chec

The hotel is located on a street that is primarily pedestrian in the evening so reaching it was confusing. It was also unclear when we made the reservation that we needed to reserve space in the garage too. A nearby garage picked up and returned the car.

Location in the city was prime. Close to all the sites, activities and restaurants. Staff was great.

Noise level from deliveries were so loud it woke us up every morning (6:30 am). I would not advise guest to eat breakfast at hotel. Food not very good.

The hotel was beautiful and had a lot of offerings in terms of amenities. The location was great to be in the middle of everything.

The rooms need to be updated some for the price you pay. The grounds outside had quite a bit of trash

The hotel website says that they provide a shuttle. We notified the hotel when we would arrive at the airport and the failed to read our email and no shuttle was waiting. We call the hotel to have them send one and that would not send one. Bad experienc

One room had a cockroach when we entered. As soon as we called about it they switched our room immediately.

Superb location at the very center of Palermo. Most sites were walking distance.

Room was tired looking and bathroom, especially the shower, was old and very small.

Breakfast was amazing. Great selection of a variety of hot and cold foods. Cannolis were delicious! Breakfast rooms are beautiful, floor to ceiling elegance. Hotel is in a very central location. Walkable to everything.

Room was a bit small. Bed was very hard. I would suggest a room not off the front of the building due to noise.

Fantastic location, gorgeous old world charm. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choices, including decaf coffee, not so easy to find in Italy

This beautiful hotel was very centrally located. The antique decor was lovely in the main rooms.

Everything was wonderful, but the bathroom was a little outdated.

Room was roomy. Good AC. The front desk staff and house-keeping staff was very professional and helpful. Excellent front desk staff.

Personally I don't like the showers that you have to do "by hand", without a permanent shower head. The bed was comfortable but not great. The breakfast was good, but if you were ONE minute past their breakfast time, they didn't allow you to grab some food.

The location comes at a price, especially that we were there during Christmas, it gets loud at night. But again that wasn’t much of a problem The physical room keys match the place’s authentic design, however is a bit limiting where you have to hand the key over to the receptionist every time you decide to go out.

I picked a great location and didn't realize how good it was. This hotel is at the center of all the action. Quiet, dark room. Good shower, comfortable bed and pillows.

Location was great, although from what we saw of Palermo in our brief stay, the area was sadly plastered in graffiti, although not the hotel. Police presence nearby, so that was comforting. The hotel itself is gorgeous as are the rooms!

The elevators (there are multiple A, B, C, etc.) were a bit confusing and it would have been helpful to know which was the best to get to our rooms. We were first directed to stairs, but with 3 suitcases we wanted an elevator but weren't directed to the best one. Not a huge deal. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions and getting our taxi early the next morning.
