Hotel Villa Archirafi

The hotel is walking distance from the Central train station, a few steps from the waterfront at the edge of the old town. There are several good restaurants in the vicinity.

Rather dated furniture/fixtures, but nothing that would make you regret your stay.

Maybe it would be better if the exit way has better signaling

We had a large quad room that was a suite, two bedrooms and a kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the TV was great with both YouTube and Netflix.

The elevator could have been a little more comfortable.

Location, unit was an apartment (I expected a room)

I thought that breakfast was included, but I was told when I arrived that reserving through booking.com doesn't include breakfast. However, they recommended Café Rosanero, only a few minutes walk, which was an excellent, yummy surprise.

Easy check in, clean and comfortable room. Location was very convenient to various sites of interest. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

They have a parking lot which they allowed me to come and park before check in and also allowed me to keep the car as i had a late ferry to naples. the room size and the facilities inside were better then i expected. the owner and the staff were pretty hands on for any info that was needed

Great place to stay close to the ferry in the chaos that is Palermo. Secure parking in front and not far from restaurants. Dog friendly.

Decent price, close to railway station, clean. They held my bag for a few hours after checkout.

Didn’t realise breakfast was an extra charge of 8 euros per day for the stay - and I only had the breakfast 2 out of the 3 days I stayed due to departing early for an activity before breakfast started. Certainly not worth 8 euros for what is offered. Very basic at best. I would not have opted in for this if I had realised. Also quite walk from anything of note in the city, but the trade off is it’s near the railway station.

The hotel is at the border if the old town, next to the botanical garrdens?. The room was very spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean.Most of the staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast is mainly sweet buns, jam, the coffee was delicious. i would come.back here.

It is very close to the GNV ferries which we had to take next morning early and they have guarded parking

It's old and the neigbourhood is not the best. We did find a great restaurant at 300m though!

Real big, nice and quiet room. Everything was there.

Staff were so helpful and accommodating, even reversing my car out of a very tight corner when we left. Huge bedrooms which were spotlessly. clean. The garden was a delight and a lovely, quiet place for an evening glass of wine with pizza brought in from a local bar. Situated next door to the botanic gardens, the hotel was an easy walk from the Piazza Bellini, the great Norman Arab Cathedral and the Royal Chapel with its stunning golden mosaics. And just a ten minute walk from the train station to catch the train for a day out in Cefalu.

The pillows weren’t brilliant. I’m a bit fussy about my pillows!

Very good value for money, very kind staff and comfortable bed.

Whilst the locatoon was convenient (close to major sites and train station), the area was little frightening for a solo female traveller. Thix however is not the property's fault.

The location. Is in the limit of the ZTL zone and near the center.The parking.

Bathroom wasn't clean enough, there's some hair in the corner in front of the toilet.So many mosquitoes in the room that we had to kill to can sleep.

Comfortable and quiet and just far enough away from the central busy tourist spots. It's in an area that seems a little rough around the edges but it's actually really close to some excellent restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and comfortable. For us the car parking (at no extra cost) was a real bonus.

Very welcoming hotel and the owners and staff all so kind and helpful. Lovely room with a view over the gardens. There is a really nice garden area to sit for an apertivo in the evening. Also, we had a lovely breakfast (for an additional charge) which was really good. The hotel is a beautiful old building in an ideal spot for sightseeing. A short walk from the marina and lots of good shopping!

The room was very clean and had a spacious terrace looking onto the botanical garden. The staff is very helpful and nice. They even booked us a transfer to the airport for the early morning.

This is an older hotel that was very comfortable with a very helpful 24-hr staff . We had a rental car and especially enjoyed the helpful staff, free parking, in-room air conditioning and refrigerator, and functional elevator. Restaurants, a grocery store, and street food are available within a short walking distance.

Our room did not have an in-room safe. Breakfast was not included with the room.
