Narjis, the staff attendant, was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me carry my luggage up the stairs and packed a to-go breakfast box since I had an early morning flight. The room was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The AC, TV and the internet all worked great. An added feature was its ideal location. Highly recommended!

There was nothing I didn't like. I have no complaints!

The hotel itself is very centrally located. The room was beautiful, with en suite bathroom, and very spacious. This room was great for my husband, myself and our 9 year old.

The AC in our room needed Freon. It did t cool too well.

Beautifully designed boutique hotel. Slept wonderfully. Woke to a classy breakfast. They served the tastiest croissants and offered eggs to order on top of a nice buffet spread. Oh and the showers was ahhh…after a long day of travel you know how great this can be. The hotel manager was incredibly responsive.

I only stayed one night. Oh the lift can be tricky. I preferred to just take the stairs.

The walk up hill to get to the hotel. Once l got the room it was much better but people should be warned about the distance walking from. Train station. There was an elevator but it was so slow and out of date however the room and breakfast very very good. There should be a phone in the room in case of an emergency as nobody is at the desk at night

Loved the room, breakfast, and most of all the staff - they were all super helpful! We had some extra requests that were handled perfectly.

Very central - can drive there but not after midnight and 9 AM. Parking is best in Parcheggio REGINA ELENA - then take the elevator in the north corner to L4 then go out and left to the elevator that takes you uptown to Castelo. From there is 2 min walk.Room is great, breakfast superbe, and location 5 star!

Dark no light building entrance, extremely limited breakfast choices with extra price for eggs and pancakes, towels are changed once a week, not even one TV channel in English, coffee machine not functioning.

The location was what I expected.Virginia was lovely and kind and helped with restaurant reservations and fresh towels. The place was clean.

The room I booked based on the photos online was not at all what I got. I was on the 3rd floor of the building next door to the original hotel. We could hear the next door neighbors talking until 4am and there was paper towel stuffed between the walls as sound proofing. My husband is 6'2'' and his head was touching the ceiling in the bedroom and washrooms as large beams crossed the room. When I arrived I was exhausted and did not have the strength or energy to cause a commotion and change rooms. The hotel was full so there was no chance of moving to a room I thought I was booking. We made the best of it I guess but I was disappointed since it was our last stop before heading home.

Very nice experience. Great location, quiet with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast dining was a joy. The delightful cafe was very nicely decorated with access to a patio for al fresco dining. The food was fantastic and abundant, offering anything you could want.

The entry hallway was very dark and required stairs or elevator to get into the actual hotel. The front desk had sporadic attendants, so if you needed help, you would have to contact them by phone.

The location was really good, and the staff was very helpful But everything else was very bad

The room was not for human accusation. It is in the attic area , low ceiling, many wood and concrete beams. I hit my head very badly, beams everywhere and very low. You need to bend down to go to the bedroom or to the bathroom. The Breakfast was very poor, and a staff standing on top of your head watching you, small place and not much to eat Very narrow and wooden stairs and it is very hard to go to the 4th floor where our room was. No windows, you will feel like standing in grave. They advertise for this hotel with nice room pictures, but reality is that most of the rooms are not suitable for human to stay in. Just stay away form this place. Not worth $1

A totally incredible historic property in the core of the city. Modern conveniences in a breathtaking atmosphere of the property itself and the surrounding area. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful room or terrace setting.

Only tribulation was the wifi connection was inconsistent but understand transfering signals through thick stone walls isn't easy.
