Sardegna Hotel - Suites & Restaurant

I needed a place near the airport because I was landing near midnight, and I booked this literally while waiting for the plane to take off from the previous destination. It was a fantastic stay! Super nice staff, clean and totally adequate accommodation, and - I confess, for an American, I adored that I could open my window on the 5th floor, I cant even remember the last time I was able to do that in a hotel anywhere. I didn't realize I had breakfast included, too, and it was great. Again, super helpful staff and awesome food. Sardinia is beautiful, rich in culture and history, and the people are wonderful. Other: I liked that I could turn off the AC in my room, the elevator was spacious by EU standards, and even though my room was right by the elevator, I never heard it, it was very quiet.

Would only stay there if you are planning an overnight.

I didn’t like the area it was situated, one of our rooms had ants, they switched for a room that had a horrible odour.

The location was great for us. It was close to Speedy pizza which was awesome as well as the airport. The room was comfortable. The hotel was great and the staff was welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic! Quite a wide spread! Check in and check out was very easy. Parking available.

Security passing in the hallways required especially at night.

I've been travelling throughout Sardinia for a month, staying at various locations, and this hotel had the one of the best rooms for size, comfort, modernizations, but especially the bathroom! It was so nice to not only have a tub (which seems to be almost non-existent in Sardinia), but a huge, deep, long, jetted tub that was just what I needed to soak for hours! It's been beautifully remodeled with an elegant contemporary style for comfort and function while keeping it's classic history alive throughout the hotel. The bed and couch were very comfortable, room was quite and dark, and I loved the robe and slippers as a finishing touch to enjoy relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was wonderful and some of the best food I experienced here. I am booking it again on my way back to the airport and looking forward to my stay! I highly recommend this hotel!

I didn't experience anything I didn't like. No views like other hotels I stayed but wasn't expecting any given main reason to stay was close proximity to Cagliari airport.

Ideal for late night arrival as very near airport, parking, clean tidy room a little small but ok for one night we would upgrade if staying longer.The forte of this hotel is its restaurant , we were very impressed by quality and menu, attentive service from Maitre and his team. Enjoyed our dining experience THANK YOU

Small bathroom and shower., and air Conditioning didnt work

Comfortable room for breakfast and very personal service from wait staff. The dinner the evening before was fabulous and again, wait staff was exceptional.

A bit of a challenging location on a hill, but not that much of a big deal.

Easy to find, and very friendly attentive dinner servers.

Parking was challenging.

The hotel is close enough to the airport, has its own parking lot and a gas station right next door, and also its own restaurant, a fairly comfortable bed and nice towels - these are advantages.

The reception staff was of course friendly, but I was very unpleasantly surprised when I had to return to them because the room I was given the keys to had not been cleaned. I checked in in the evening, by this time a 4-star hotel should have had time to clean the room. To my surprise, everyone reacted very calmly, saying a stingy "sorry", and gave me the keys to another room. The hotel has poor soundproofing, when people from the room opposite were leaving, it seemed to me that they had come to my room. I was upset that the hotel did not provide a kettle. It is December now and warm drinks are very nice. I would like a 4-star hotel to take care of this.

Rooms are spacious and clean. The Hotel has a lot of charm.

Despite far from the center, there is frequent bus (9 and 1) that are stopping 5 min walk from the Hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located for those arriving by car. The staff are generally polite and efficient.

I asked a staff member to fill a bottle with tap water for me. He did so begrudgingly and stated that if I asked again, he would have to charge me as his manager would be unhappy that he had done so free of charge. Some of the facilities in the room required maintenance, for example, the fridge door was broken and hung at an angle, and the basin tap was not affixed properly.

The stay was an overnight stay in view of a very early departure flight. Staff were very hospitable and helpful with logistics arrangements.

Locality is outside of central core part of Cagliari

Breakfast was great. Good variety of products and everything was very fresh.Room was reasonable considering the category of the hotel.Location is fine if you have a car. It has easy access to the airport.

I have received a message from booking offering a deal to have a dinner at the hotel. Once I was at the restaurant several restrictions were applicable since many options from the menu were not included. Thus, in the end, we had the choosing our food from the menu. I must say that the food we chose was excellent.

Easy access, quick parking, not charged. Single separate bed for 3 people.

Not many places to park. Lift very tight and slow. Breakfast with good variety but average quality. Coffee on the cold side. Room small for 3 people.

Close to the airport. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel restaurant was fantastic and breakfast was generous with lots of choice.

Rooms were a little disappointing but perfectly adequate

The staff is amazing. For me, that is a very big deal. They were all professional and in one case, we had some issues with the window in our room since we could not close it correctly, and the staff had someone in our room in 5 mins to show us how. The breakfast is amazing, fresh fruit, fresh pastries and a good selection of seating indoors and outdoors. The restaurant was also amazing. The servers were very attentive and helpful with helping my girlfriend and I select our meals. We also got to enjoy a live band. We had accessible parking while we were there as we rented a vehicle.

The weather but the hotel doesn't have control of that. We also happened to go during a holiday, so many of the stores were closed near the hotel. Neither issue had anything to do with the hotel.

Breakfast was excellent, fresh and the room was cozy, bright and clean! Staff (from reception to the breakfast) is helpful, smiling, attentive and giving tips where to go and what to so.

Being in a residencial / industrial area there wasn’t much to do nearby, nor where to get something to eat in case you didn’t want to take your car. Very easy to get to the airport, practical.

Location, Shower, gluten free choice (even though not a lot) for breakfast

- My room had a broken minibar, though it was replaced within 10 minutes. However, there was an unresolved water leakage issue that caused an unsettling noise throughout the night. - Tourists Tax Charged twice in a slippery way: Be cautious when dealing with the reception, although some staff members are helpful.We booked two rooms, and one room of friends checked out earlier in the night to catch a flight. The night shift receptionist charged them 4 euros in cash for the tax but refused to provide a receipt, claiming that no receipt was available for tax payments.In the rush to catch their flight, my friends didn’t have time to argue for a proof. When I checked out several hours later, I was charged the entire reservation’s tax, including the 4 euros that had already been paid.Believing it to be a simple miscommunication, I contacted the hotel through Booking.com to request a reimbursement. However, they denied for the doubled charge (not sure if they ever verified with their night shift at all, or it's just the night shift guy was so tired that he needed a coffee right at the moment my friends checked out yet the hotel does not provide their night shift employee enough coffee quota? ;).- Dishonesty Regarding The Fork App Discount: I made a reservation through The Fork app, which advertised a 20% discount for the exact dinner time I selected. However, the reception refused to honor the discount, claiming it didn’t apply to dinner. If this is indeed the case, the hotel should remove the misleading discount information from The Fork app.

Nice hotel. Good (but not michelin worthy IMHO) restaurant. Comfy rooms with good AC. Convenient to the airport. Really nice staff. Quick taxi calls from the desk. Ok breakfast.

Location: Not convenient to the downtown. Walking takes 45 minutes and parking downtown is a bit difficult so even with a rental i used taxis. Also, the immediate neighborhood is quite run-down. Parking: Free parking at the hotel was WHY i chose this hotel rather than one closer to town. But i still ended up street parking because the spaces available are so limited. Still free, but....disappointing.Rooms: Walls are sound-proofed but doors are not. I was right next to the cleaning closet and was woken by 0830 every day by the cleaning staff. So no sleeping in after a late night for me.Coffee: I asked for, and was provided a kettle but there was no coffee/tea in the rooms or in the lobby area area. I checked out at 0600 and could not get coffee until i got checked in at the airport. For a country that LOVES its coffee, the hotel did not? Sadness.

The apartment is basic, but very comfortable and clean. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom fully equipped. Fully air conditioned and , great bonus for me, a very nice coffee machine with nespresso like capsule. The reception also sells capsule and they were excellent. The pool is big and there is also a restaurant/bar. The staff is exceptional and very helpful. They even let us use an empty apartment on our checkout day to use the shower so we could use the pool for the morning.

Maybe a firmer mattress would have been nice but it is probably just a matter of preference. Nothing else really
