Hotel Wachau

A lovely, welcoming spot. Fantastic location, peaceful atmosphere, and great facilities. Our dog was made to feel right at home, and we all slept soundly in the very comfortable beds. A very good breakfast was the perfect start the day. Highly recommended!

We were just looking for a place to stay between salzburg and Vienna. This hotel has easy access from the highway, parking and breakfast (that we needed). The room are nice and clean and the breakfast was good

Nice facility. It seemed to be what I would expect of an Austrian hotel.

A ways from the downtown and the Monastery, 1 mile walk. No A/C. Breakfast was extra at $23.

It was perfect absolutely! So close to highway but still silent enough and room was clean and big! Absolutely recommended

great family hotel. Very clean, large and comfortable room with a large terrace. Very quite area, next to the motorway so easy access if you are travelling. The restaurant has a well selected menu and includes Bio farmed meets and ingredients from the family Bio farm. Very recommended hotel

Nice place and hôtel. Good breakfast and wonderfull choice.

Bed too soft creating backsick. Nice restaurant but very expensive. Hamburger was too salted and no free water offer on the bedroom compared to other hôtels.

It's in a good place. Clean accommodation. Parking is easy. Ample large buffets for breakfast.

There is no air conditioning in the room, the rooms are unbearably hot in summer. Ventilation is also difficult, there is no air circulation. It is difficult to sleep in a very hot room.

No air conditioning, it gets very hot on sunny day. No screens on the windows, so bugs (wasps especially) are coming in quite a lot.

The room was enormous! The breakfast was great, particularly the fresh honey. Helpful staff and everything I needed.I know people have commented on the location, but the walk into torn was all downhill and with great views of the abbey for the last half.

The location of this hotel was a bit disappointing. At least a 15 minutes walk along a busy road. The hotel was comfortable but lack a personal touch. Breakfast was good but when we asked for hot food we were told only eggs were available and on our second day realised we could have had a different hot food choice. Found this very strange and staff on our first morning were quite unhelpful. An ok stay!!

Bed could have made provisions for a single kingsize instead twins bed

Room was quiet and had all conveniences, clean and a good shower. Bed was comfortable and the sheets were of good quality. Breakfast was really good with eggs made to order and an extensive Buffet. Fresh bread, and the locally produced apricot jam was, while expected being in the Wachau area, a definite bonus, and really enjoyable.

In Summer, a mosquito net at the window could be a good idea

Beautiful hotel. Quiet area. Good location, but away from the town center, reason why it has good parking on site (it is a trade). Great breakfast.

Perhaps a bit pricey?

Very nice place, very nice staff as well. Room was cozy and had a really nice view. Breakfast was also great. Loved the croissants and the strawberries. Highly recommend and would stay there again if given the chance. Shower water pressure was strong

Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, superb bed, closeness to city centre, convenient parking. Fridge and safe in the room.
