Hotel Stadt Melk

Central location and easy to walk to rent bikes for the bike from Melk to Krems. Easy parking for the rental car. Restaurants and coffee shops close. Great stay in a quite town. Easy walk to Melk Abbey which was worth the visit also.

Great location, charming interior. Very nice bathroom, with a tub. It is right in the center of town, but very close to the Danube cycle path. Excellent and varied breakfast.

I am disabled and there is no handicapped access. I had a great deal of trouble with all the stairs

The balcony view is amazing, and the cushion and throw are a great bonus.

Excellent location at the foot of the Melk Abbey in the town center. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff showed us the many opportunities around the area including the best way to visit the Abbey. The breakfast was a great selection of quality items and good coffee to start your day off right.

The location is perfect — right in the center of Melk with a beautiful view of the abbey. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast selection could be a bit more varied, and the Wi-Fi connection was not very stable.

Location and quaint vibe, easy parking, lovely breakfast! You are able to walk up to the Abbey and enjoy the gardens before the tour busses arrive.

I love the location of the hotel and also owner offer us a complimentary breakfast at a restaurant close by which we got nice local food. There is a private parking next to the hotel you need to ask the owner how to operate the gate to get in and out.

Air condition is not as powerful. Lucky the wether was not too hot so we had a good night sleep.

Everything very small and narrow. No elevators. I had booked private parking but due to a fair in the town I couldnt reach it as roads were closed. Property should have informed me and suggested alternative parking. Not even an apology! Reception often nobody there. Closes at 7pm already. Breakfast only until 9am which is too early. Beds are too small. Shower cabin is like a coffin. You cant move. Horrible! Hairdryer has no power. Sink has no plug. In short, not the best experience but perhaps for that price that is what you can expect in Europe.

Breakfast could be better, no egg meals, there is a secret menu of boiled egg, not written anywhere i asked by luck and got it. no Cappucino.

Good hotel in great location (old town, just few minutes walk to the abbey), close to restaurants and cafés. Simple but sufficient breakfast, staff nice and helpful. Would stay here again.

I loved this hotel, situated at the heart of Melk town. The hospitality, the most comfortable bed, the breakfast - thank you for a most wonderful stay!
