Great location. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. On site parking.

Location is central, yet the Abby bells chaiming every 15 min and no air.con in the room contibute to restless night.

Hotel entrance is thru the restaurant, the same people serving restaurant customers at the same time trying to check you in. We didn't find ourselves particularly welcomed. The room was ready and clean, yet facing main street was noisy . No aircond .

This town with the beautiful Abbey is like a fairytale. The guesthouse is lovely with a great restaurant. An amazing experience.

Everything was lovely, clean, friendly, spacious, and convenient. Walkable from train a bonus. Breakfast was just perfect.

We stayed in the historical wing. I got 3 rooms and we were all in the same area. Great for family bonding

The dishwasher wasn’t working in the one room where we usually congregate because it has the most spacious living/dining area

It’s very conveniently located in the heart of the town, and the fountain was right outside our window. We had the most awesome view of the Melk Abbey as well. The cleaning staff were very efficient as well.

Quaint European style apartment. Very comfortable with a lot of room and charm.

Spacious apartment, amazing location - close to the train station, close to Melk Abbey - both a short walking distance, great view of the Melk Abbey from the apartment's window, quiet yet on the main historical street of old Melk, walking distance to the Danube.The apartment is in a historical building, very thick walls, gives a sense of how it was to live in the old times - yet, it is modernized.Breakfast had a nice selection and was tasty

Booking reservation noted two bedrooms while we got only one bedroom (in addition to a living room), it was OK for us as the one bedroom apartment was spacious enough for 3 adults, it was just not aligned with the reservation; we did see a connecting door to another room but it was locked. The reservation also noted a washing machine - there wasn't such in the apartment (we didn't care about this but again, it wasn't aligned with the reservation).Note also there are a few steps between the bedroom and the rest of the apartment. The bed in the bedroom is a good size for one person but would be a bit small for a couple.But nevertheless, we liked the apartment but wish the reservation description would be more accurate.

Loved being in Old Town near the abbey. We rented ebikes & rode to Krem. Convenient to the bike path.

Excellent location on the main square and at the foot of the Abby. The Abby is about 5-10 minuets up a side street that has many steps, but not steep. The hotel is also about 15 minuet easy walk to the river cruise station for the Danube cruises. The hotel has a good restaurant offering Austrian cuisine and some additional lighter foods, with seating either on the main square front or a lovely small courtyard. Breakfast was very good and had variety in the selection. The personnel were friendly and courteous speaking German, English, and Hungarian; perhaps other languages of which I was unaware.

Finding the parking lot was very difficult. One of the guests at the hotel actually walked me to the location since my GPS did not show it correctly. I did not see air conditioning in the room and can not recall if it was listed in the description on Booking.

Said it had view . It was a back alley that was noisy at night with cleanup and noisy early morning with opening and garbage etc . Pay extra and get better area if it matters.

Excellent restaurant, excellent breakfast. Staff is really accommodating. Even let us use the clothes washer to do laundry. Large room. Very clean. Perfectly located to explore the small old town. 15 minute walk to the Danube tour boats. Short walk to the Abby.

The standard room is very basic: the bathroom needs improvements, cleaning was not perfect, curtains were old and didn't cover all the window (light in early morning)

We stayed in this hotel on a short cycling trip along the Danube. Their main business seems to be the restaurant, which by the way serves good dinner and ice-cream! The rooms are on the 2nd floor and despite the busy restaurant below, we slept well. And they obviously knew how to set up a good breakfast buffet!

Excellent hotel and restaurant. Staff were very friendly although reception is in the restaurant so at busy times you may have to wait a bit. The room was big, clean and well equipped. Breakfast offered a wide selection. The hotel is located directly on the main square, a few minutes on foot to the train station or the Stift.
