Pros +
- Spacious room w/ balcony, beautiful well-kept grounds, delicious breakfast, friendly and accommodating personnel and (robots), centrally located and great for exploring the area. Having the parking on-site was also convenient.
- We loved everything this place had to offer. The location was gorgeous and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Especially the restaurant staff, specifically the kind gentleman who waited on us for our stay.
- Excellent staff, rooms, food, etc., etc. It is all a Villa in Tuscanv can be.
Cons -
- Cleaning person was visibly sick - heavily coughing the entire time while entering the rooms and hallway and was not wearing a face mask. Several days later I became sick despite myself taking precautionary measure such as wearing a mask in crowded places. I don't know whether I got sick from the cleaning person but I should not have needed to ponder if only the person and Villa Sabolini took basic precautionary measures such as having sick personnel wear a mask.No screens on windows to prevent insects from entering the room.Instructions on where to initially park while checking in could be a bit clearer.
- The only issue was the noise late at night while in our room. We wanted the windows open. Our room was just above the courtyard.
- Wish a spa /massage was available.

I wanted to find a Villa away from the city but still close enough to Florence. The property is beautiful. Clean and well maintained.
The only issue was the noise late at night while in our room. We wanted the windows open. Our room was just above the courtyard.
Secluded in country side, kept clean, nice pool, great people
Wish a spa /massage was available.
Beautiful! Loved the grounds. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A special thank you to Silvia who helped us extend our stay!!! Thank you Silvia!!!
Beautiful grounds and the dinner manager was great. Not so much the breakfast staff and front desk.
Upon checkin the front desk clerk asked if we needed help with our bags. Told him that I would take it as we had 4 large bags between myself and two kids. The bellman was there and seemingly would be right back. He didn’t com back. The clerk showed us to our room and saw me struggling. It didn’t offer to call him back to help. The pool had stuff floating at the bottom the few times we tried to use it and didn’t feel clean. At breakfast, my wife asked for a Cantucci/Biscotti to go with her coffee. The first day they had no problem with it and put some on a plate for her. The next day they told us it was only to be served with desert wine and refused to allow her any. Even after taking it to the manager and the front desk manager they wouldn’t allow her any which was frustrating as I wanted to bring her coffee in bed the last day we were there. This hotel contrasted to our Paris hotel, which was a lot less expensive but the hotel manager bent over backwards to see if you could help us out with anything and was very gracious. Disappointing that for the Price they seem to not care a whole lot about being helpful or making sure we enjoyed our stay.
Amazing property near the Chianti Classico region, perfect for families and kids! Location is great to explore the region around; rooms are well designed spacious and clean, good views of the rolling hills. The staff is excellent, is great with kids and often goes above and beyond for young families. Valentina was very knowledgeable and helped us book a tour of an amazing vineyard nearby, and provided excellent recommendations on things to do in the area. Breakfast spread is great and food quality is amazing! The parking is also right next door, and well secured. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet Baso, the dog too!
Pool isn’t heated, so it can get a bit chillyIn the Spring. Mattresses for the baby cots or cribs aren’t great, please get the proper crib mattresses instead of the folding foam pads which are very thin and keep a weird shape. Otherwise the arrangements for the baby were great!
loved the location, overlooking the lake and castle behind. Rooms were clean and comfortable. meals were lovely.
Everything’s perfect. Staff are nice. We had dinner and breakfast there, both of which were of super quality. The garden was pretty cute.
Not really
The wonderful location and luxury style.
The internet connection. One of the staff members.
Amazing breakfast, good location, comfy beds and friendly staff. Wonderful ambience around the villa.
We didn’t know there will be some construction next to the pool area. Also, it would be good to have coffee/tea in the room.
Everything! The place is amazing and also with interesting history. The people who work there are extremely kind. The food was delicious. We have spent the Easter holidays in Villa Sabolini and we had a great time there.
Beautiful clean and spacious room. Wonderful breakfast and dinners. Friendly staff and helpful.
All good.

An idyllic retreat. Just beautiful, very comfortable. Great food. Basil the Basset-Hound was a great bonus. Worth a small detour off the Via Francigena. They were very understanding of our muddy hiking gear.
the staff, the quality of the food (dinner and breakfast), the swimming pool and the overall decor
The crew was great
The room was full of bugs. We kept asking for the windows to be closed to avoid them , and the cleaning lady opened them.
