Villa I Barronci Resort & Spa

The main reason I booked this hotel is for the heated pool, which when I arrived was not working and they covered it, I was disappointed actually!

The view was beautiful. It is not a bad place, I just do not think it is worth the value.

To be honest, I was very much looking forward to this place. However was sadly disappointed. I paid nearly $300 USD a night. There were no water bottles in the room, the sauna was not hot at all and the beds pretty bare/uncomfortable. There is no laundry onsite, which would not be an issue. When I washed my clothes by hand in the room and hung to dry near the windows, the maids came into clean the room...piled all my clothes and closed the windows leaving my clothes to sour.

The property is beautiful and has a great view of the Tuscan region. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room is very clean and very spacious. The pool has a beautiful view and the pool was heated, so we were able to enjoy it on a sunny day. The food is really good - our breakfast was included and we enjoyed dinner at the Villa.

Transportation - there is no public transportation close to the property. We did not have a car so it was hard when we wanted to leave the property, but the staff was very helpful with helping us figure that out. Restaurant - make sure you make reservations for dinner. Both nights they told us they were fully booked (but luckily we were able to get in). Just book ahead so you get a table.

The room was spacious, the hotel was clean and in a good atmosphere.

The most important thing in the hotel's photos, and after I asked the hotel by email whether the pool was open and after they told me it was open in the winter, we arrived at the hotel and the pool wasn't open, they let us enter the spa free of charge.

We love this place!!! The view was incredible, The Food just perfect…and the pool was great, and we travel in November! 100% Recommend!

Very comfy bed and great with two separate sleeping areas. High ceilings and beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was a 10!

Unfortunately the pool was broken during our stay. The kids were disappointed.

Such a beautiful spot. The views are unforgettable. This was an excellent value. Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious.The breakfast was great with a variety of options. They were so kind to provide gluten-free options upon request. We rented the car from the Florence airport so we could have our own autonomy in the area. The location is perfect for exploring and nearby Chianti area and it was an easy drive to Sienna. My husband and I wanted a day dedicated to relaxation so we booked a facial, then couples massage back to back with the 1 hour private spa right after. We are happy we did multiple services, I would highly recommend! I would love to come back in the future.

Amazing location, breathtaking views and very friendly staff.

Breakfast would be better if some basic vegetable choices will be added.

We really enjoyed the villa. The views, the HEATED pool was a treat, the sauna, and breakfast was amazing ! The staff was really helpful, friendly and patient! We went to 2 of the closest wineries in the area recommended my the hotel and were very impressed!

The bathroom in the suite room needs a new paint job

The room was great and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel is very nice. The outdoor pool is heated so we could enjoy the sun set each evening (although it was very cold outside).

There is a coffee machine in the lobby but you have to pay for the coffee.

Charming Villa in historical building in beautiful location- 30 min by car from Train Station in Florence. Cozy room, outdoor pool with warm water with spectacular view over vineyards and countryside make our stay very pleasant - many thanks to friendly Team. It was already my second time I stayed in this wonderful place and would be glad be back soon.

Gorgeous, clean, amazing friendly staff. On site restaurant was convenient and delicious - get the spaghetti!

The location was breathtaking and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Transportation to and from Florence city is not that easy, so it is recommended to rent a car.

I liked the villa itself. The staff were freindly and helped me upon my late arrival. Breakfast with a nice view. Pool looked appealing.

The bed was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE because it was thin. Had a really had time sleeping there. I didn't like the location of the villa either, though the villa itself is very beautiful.

This is not a 4 star resort - besides the pool and the sauna there are no other facilities - no gym, no food/snacks avalailable before dinner, a bar that opens late afternoon.

My only issue was that the bar wasn’t open during the week until 17:30 so unable to get a drink by the pool.

The bathroom in our accomodation was small and the steps in the bathroom were dangerous

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Tuscany. The views of the rolling hills and vineyards are absolutely breathtaking. The on-site restaurant was a highlight — every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. A perfect spot for a relaxing and authentic Tuscan experience!

The overall stay was lovely, but we did feel that the bathroom was quite small for a junior suite intended for four guests. It lacked the space and comfort we would typically expect for this room category. A bit more room or an additional bathroom would make a big difference for family.

Beautiful, secluded property. Very nice restaurant and breakfast. If you’re looking for a winery in walking distance, go check out Bruscola. The staff recommended it and it did not disappoint. We walked down and got a personal tour of the ground with a tasting for EUR 25. Owner and his family were lovely and the wine was even more lovely.
