    Pros +

    • Very interesting to stay in a n old villa with so much history
    • Beautiful setting
    • Beautiful property in a stunning location.

    Cons -

    • The villa needs a lot of work. Rooms did t seem clean. Mosquitoes were present in our room. Windowsills were filthy. No shower curtain so water sprayed all over when taking a shower. No way this is a 4 star hotel - perhaps 40 years ago it was
    • Old tatty furniture we were afraid to sit on.
    • A/C did not work well, however we still managed to have a comfortable stay

Superb location, wonderful views. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast, nice dinner service. Limited dinner menu though. Rather aged furniture and appliences, the entire complex could be a bit better maintained in all honesty.

Ground floor and first floors are beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful big garden. Very nice dinner. Gorgeous views outside the villa

There is a massive contrast between the facade and a quality of the hotel itself. The rooms are very old and kept in a poor condition. Floors are dusty and have someone’s hair. Not even mentioning that one room was full of bugs. The breakfast is ok. Good choice of pastries but the rest was below average. The lunch is really poor. The pool way very dirty. I hope it only because the season was almost over with an exception of a few warm days

Uniquely located, this villa should be a 5* luxury hotel. You will not get entthront like that for the current price. It breathes history and Italian flair. Yet it’s the small things that make you realize why it is not more expensive. Suboptimal bathroom designs. A lack of general service (eg daily pool cleaning). Frozen pastry for breakfast. If you are a picky guest, this one is not for you.

One word...WOW...last minute booking on booking.com and how lucky we were. This is where you go ifyoudreamof Tuscany..every view was a painting. Staff very fantastic....room we had (2 adults and 1 child was huge). We will be back

Setting and views on the Toscan hills

Worn out look and feel. Swimming pool not up to normal standards

The villa has certain age and you can feel its spirit in every room, hallway or part of garden you are in. We enjoyed our stay. My only thing was, that the garden would need a bit more care to radiate its charm properly... But, room was comfy. Beautiful view and sunset. Quiet place, which was perfect for us. History breathing from every corner. Delicious dinner and plentiful breakfast. Friendly staff. Overall, I am happy that we stayed at this villa :)

The location, the gardens and pool, as well as the property were absolutely gorgeous! Stunning experience to stay in a villa of such grandeur.

The WiFi was limited to common areas only. The kettle in our room did not work. The shower/bath wasn’t ideal, it was surprising that this was still the showering option in a hotel like this.Restaurant was lovely but very over priced for what you receive - same can be said for the bar.

Beautiful place ? a bit away in the city but very near the designer outlet The Mall. Facilities were great.Staff are amazing.

Just the squeaky floors of our room

    8LindaPosted on: 8-31-2024

Breakfast was abundant and very nice. Room was charming and very big. Beds very comfortable.

Piped 'elevator' music in lobby and downstairs was out of place and not necessary. Head waiter in the restaurant was very stern and made us feel unwelcome.

Villa Pittiana has a beautiful location on top of the hill with a stunning view. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is sufficent and a restaurant menu offer few choices for evening meal too. It is a good spot for bike(e-bike) enthusiasths. It is also close to Florence.

The cleanliness of the room was poor and a room itself offers rather basic standard, not 4 stars.A bathroom was a let down- a small bath, almost impossible to have a shower without getting water all on the floor unless you are kneeling down. It simply causess a unnecesarry discomfort on your vacation. The bed consist of two small beds pushed together so it moves apart too.

The location of the villa was amazing. We couldn't stop enjoying the spectacular views. The staff was very kind and friendly.

    9EugenePosted on: 8-22-2024

So beautiful place, just incredible. Big rooms. Views.... They have great restoraunt in place, you even don't need to go anywhere if you feel lazy. There are activities in place. We had birthday boy during the trip there, and they coocked for us great tiramisu....Freash tarts during the breakfast...So many things to enjoy there.

The only thing, they need to solve there - the pool, it's standing water pool, and looks like they had to put there more chemicals then usual, which made water a little bit unpleasant. But if they fix this one, it's not 10 property, it's 20

Villa Pitiana is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Both Lauras were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was special, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Every detail was taken care of, making this one of the best stays we’ve ever experienced. The villa itself is a true Tuscan treasure, offering breathtaking views that left us in awe. The rooms were beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The restaurant was equally impressive, serving delicious meals that showcased the best of local cuisine. From the stunning surroundings to the exceptional service, Villa Pitiana offers a unique and unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

Location is fabulous especially for those who plans a whole day shopping in The Mall outlet. Historic building with panoramic view on Toscana Valley. Great restaurant.

Bathroom needs renovation. Bathtub has no curtains, water is everywhere.
