Hotel de la Ville

The hotel is has a very good location: next to the beach and ön the same time close to the center of the city. The staff is very polite and helpfull. We were there ön the last week of August when the price was already acceptable. The breakfast offer is correct for a 3* hotel.

When I choosed the hotel ín the description was mentioned that the hotel has own beach. It is true however you have to pay for it. Positive that the guests of the hotel get 10% discount from the official price. If I read ín the description that it has own beach I did not even think thar I have to pay extra for it.Ín the rooms we missed the possibilty tó dry wet clothes anf towels used on the beach.However the staff is very polite it was disturbing sometimes that only few of them understand some words on foreign language (English, German). If they would like the get customers out of Italy than they have to improve it.

Excellent location, friendly staff. Good breakfast, continental style. Fabrizio and family along with the staff did an excellent job. Very clean. Fabrizio is an excellent chef. And a lovely send off at the end of our trip. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We can't fault this holiday.

The hotel is right in front of the beach with a “sister” lido across the street. Right on the boardwalk very close to the boardwalks’ center rotunda. It’s about a 4 minute walk to the train station and about 6-7 minutes walk to the city center with all the shops. The staff is super nice. It’s family run and even the children love to help out and make you feel welcome. It was very clean and nice to have breakfast included.

We enjoyed staying by the sea with a marvellous view to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially with the parking next to the hotel. Everything clean and hospitable.

Should have stayed longer!

A family-run hotel with everything you can ask. Great value for money, great location just a few meters fro sea and a few minutes from the historical center, really clean bedrooms and wc, and and an amazing and helpful couple of owners.

the lift could do with a bit of attention

All the staff were a friendly professional bunch always willing to help and the location overlooking the sea for breakfast was special. The city centre was in easy reach and with lots of different things to see there. Lots of bars and restaurants to eat good food and drink good wine in wonderful settings

The small car parking area means cars need to be sometimes taken in and out to cover everybody getting in. The problem is as we arrived we had a lot to take out of the car and had to do it a few yards down from the hotel as we wouldn't be able to do it once the car was parked. Considering all that, the staff did a great job at making it all work.
