Pros +
- A very good hotel with a great location near the A1 motorway. Very good breakfast, responsive and friendly staff. The hotel has its own free parking.
- Location, closed to the motorway, good night stop option
- Nice, family owned hotel, not far from A1 and Linz. Very comfy bed. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good place for a stop over on the way through Austria.
Cons -
- No crib was available even after the hotel confirmed there was one available for us. I had to sleep in a pullout bed with my son.
- Parking may be a challenge, we found no space available
- A bit pricey compared to what I paid for a similar standard in Vienna few nights before. Otherwise all good.

Location is great. Room big and clean. Bathroom super. Great stuff and dinner and breakfast excelent. It’s always a pleasure to come at Hotel zur Post.
A minibar would be nice to add to the room.
The hotel was located really close to the highway in a small town which makes a great stop for everyone who is travelling by car. It’s located in a very quiet town so you will not be bothered during the night. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was well equipped and modern. There is also wifi available and free of charge and plenty of parking spots just outside the hotel. A great advantage was also represented by the fact that you can make check in even if you arrive very late (after 11pm) as we did. The staff was nice and helpful and they left us the key in a safe place so we could just access the rooms when we got there. Another positive about the hotel is the breakfast option that you have (it is not included in the price so you will have to pay some extra money to eat breakfast there but nonetheless it’s great to know that you can eat a good breakfast before leaving). Overall it’s a great choice if you are travelling and want to stop overnight because of the great location and the decent prices for rooms.
The rooms are not spacious at all and the beds could have been more comfortable. Also there are not many things to do in the region so it’s probably only suited for transit. Moreover the prices are a bit too high for what the hotel rooms offer (you can probably find some cheaper options for transit that are also located next to the highway). But as I’ve already said, it still represents a solid option for me and I may stop here again if I will find myself travelling and looking for a quick one night stay in that region.
Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with an exceptionally nice bathroom. Breakfast was fine as well.
There was no free space in the hotel's own parking lot and we had to look for a while in the nearby streets to find a legal parking spot. The person at the reception was so unfriendly and unpleasant, that it made me feel bad about the whole stay, even though our room and the facilities were excellent.
Been here several times. Room is decent, nothing special.
Staff at reception ok, but not very friendly.
The room was one of the updated modern rooms. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Friendly staff and dinner portion sizes were good and, in general, good for the price. Free parking was nice. Our room was facing the back of the building and was quiet. Didn't notice the train station across the street.
The towels were old, mismatched, and odd. They were clean, but the smaller yellow towel had seen better days. And the combo of yellow and green towels just didn't make sense. With the modern room, new towels in the bathroom should be a given. The room had a kettle hidden in the closet but no cups, coffee, or anything that enabled you to use the kettle. Old mismatched hangers in the closet. It's not a big deal, but the little details matter. We did have to wait a bit to get our order taken at dinner, and I found my food very salty.
Excellent for a stop over. The staff is very helpful.
No fridge in the room, but the owner helped and put everything in one of the fridges in the restaurant.
The room was big, clean and cosyThe breakfast was good also
It was nice experience
The room was excellent ,clean and quiet, service was very good
Well….the atmosphere, from the reception (I think the owner was there)to the restaurant, everyone was friendly, helpful and we felt very welcome. This is a family business and when you open the menu you can see the history and pride of the family who owns the place, they are buying many local products to support the community. We look to have dinner there, the restaurant was full ,we found the last table in Gaststube and we had dinner ,I think most of the people where locals and we felt little bit between friends ?This is not a 5 stars building but it is 5 stars home.We will return, thank you guys!Keep up with the great job!
Exceptional
Bathroom needs upgrade. Shower pressure is poor and shower head are half clogged.Bathroom ventilation is very noise.
Clean, simple, good breakfast, convenient to reach and with parking available. Most importantly, staff spectacularly kind and helpful. Solid value for money.
Everything was ok. Nice triple room with all we needed, including balcony. Food was very good, not much variety but clasic breakfast. Dinner was great. nice staff and helpful. Although it’s near train station, we haven’t heard any noise. Definitely will come back.

The bathtub next to the bed was a treat. The room was cozy and it was quiet. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful. I could control the rooms temperature myself.
The bed was too soft, the pillows were old and thin. The room faces east and the curtains were thin so it was too bright in the morning. Upon arrival the receptionist was rude and didn't know when check out was.
It's nice hotel near highway. We stayed only one night but it was pleasing stay.
We asked for crib in advance, with response from hotel 'OK' and when we came, crib wasnt there but the personal brought it immediately. I was OK with that, not a big deal. But when I wanted to put baby to sleep I found out, the sheets were NOT changed, there were hair and some plastic tape. That was really disappointing.
Very nice staff, big rooms plenty of space veryComfortable, family friendly and pleasant
It could have been cleaner
The view. I love seeing train stations. ?
it could be cleaner as i found hair in the bedsheets.
