- The property is on a steep hill, so it takes a bit of sweat to get to it on a bicycle. A minor point, which may be due to local way of building, is that the toilet has no sink. That means you need to go to another room to wash your hands.

Quiet
Very basic room. No bedside lights. No keys left in the key lock. Luckily found some others in an open lock and our room key in the room door.
Comfortable, good size room. Inexpensive.
Not a problem but be aware it's up a pretty steep hill just out of town.
That we could get a room after a long bike ride
No breakfast. Coffee like brown water. Google says slight hill. On a bike it's not slight. Not close to town
Lovely Pension in the heart of the village Grein overlooking the Donau and the castle. Lovely garden to relax in. Nice cozy rooms.
Nothing. Beautiful location
Shared kitchen facilities and access to a fridge was great. Coffee machine was also a good touch.
Check-in instructions not provided before we arrived so I had to call the owner who wasn't home. Also I had to pay in cash which was not advised ahead of time.
Have to say that the hosts of this Pension are the best we have ever encountered. They were so attentive to our needs and nothing was a bother.Couldn’t speak more highly of this wonderful couple.
