    Pros +

    • Hotel has great location, next to all sights and museums. Staff was friendly and helpful.
    • There was a red alert rain warning in place. So we arrived earlier than planned, hoping to avoid the storm. We never left the building after 5 pm. We had a few drinks in the roof bar before dinner in the restaurant. Great food. A lovely way to spend the storm.
    • the room is very clean.

    Cons -

    • Electricity went off. And never came back. My family got locked in pitch black elevator and it took long time until they manage to open the door and get them out. The room was without lights and heating, no internet, couldn't charge phones. In the lobby they kept the main doors open to the street so all cold air came in. Breakfast room door was broken, it was cold there as well. We got only partial refund of the 2nd night.
    • Our room. We stayed in the same room before. It had a lovely view of the castle. So when we opened the windows, we got a shock. A massive extension is in progress, completely blocking the view. We are relieved to be only staying one night and don't have to endure construction works
    • the room is in a noisy place. On the upper floors of the hotel there is a restaurant and a very nice bar. If one is sensitive to noise should chose another place.

The room was beautiful and spacious, the bed comfortable, great shower, and thoughtful amenities like earplugs. The staff stored our bags until our room was ready and helped us call an early taxi when we had to leave the next morning. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar and beautiful views from the hotel

It was right next to several late night establishments, so it was loud late into the night. Thank goodness for the earplugs!

The location of this hotel is great. Easily connected to the city center. All distances easily walkable. Great for solo Travellers who would prefer to have some noise. The roof top cafe and far have views of the Alcazaba and are great for a morning coffee. The staff is great and very accommodating.

The inclusive breakfast is very average. The street can be noisy for those who need the quiet.

Great location in the old town, perfect for walking. Rooftop bar has amazing views and free access for guests. Breakfast was delicious with a beautiful setting.

The AC wasn’t working during my stay. Staff did their best, gave me a fan and refunded breakfast, but it was still very hot.

    3BernaPosted on: 7-14-2025

The hotel is very well located, however, the AC was not working; it was just sweltering. The hotel offered a fan, but this honestly did not do much, just pushing hot air around. Considering that I paid for a room that included AC, I would have rather gone somewhere else. They allowed me to pay in full, and as soon as that was done, informed me of the AC issue. Sneaky.

Location, staff, rooftop, windows with shutters

Low quality of materials used in bathroom - already in a bad condition

    Great location and value

Unfortunately, my stay here was during the countrywide power outage. It was my last day before flying home so I needed a hotel that is near the airport but also walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. This hotel’s location is perfect. I wish I could have enjoyed the bar/terrace on the rooftop but unfortunately it was closed due to the circumstances. There was no power because of the situation in the country that day but the room was cute, with a great view. It was nice that they had generators to keep lights on the in common areas and there were a couple outlets on the walls out there so at least I was able to charge my phone outside the room and get some light by cracking the door open. I am sure it would have been a great stay under normal circumstances. My only complaint was that the shower water was discolored when using the hot water. It was like an orange color when you turn on the hot water. I was told that it clears up after a minute of running the water but I was a bit turned off by it so I just took a cold shower. Staff was nice and there is a big parking garage conveniently located just across the street.

Great Check in and communication before staying. The location was perfect if looking for a lively busy street. We did book a family room which entailed a pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable and had a broken arm.on the sofa .Good job was only one evening. The style of the room is pretty fabulous traditional shutters and roof top terrace is a bonus .

Was the quality of the second bed and condition of it .. was very uncomfortable

    Great location. Charming rooms.

Rooms are super super small. There was so much noise in early morning hours that we were startled awake numerous times. Bed was not comfortable.

Breakfast is a portion version, not buffet. but it was tasty with great view to Alcazaba. Location is quite perfect.

Building is a bit noisy from staircase and aisle.

Location and rooftop bar and restaurant

No tea facilities, cold shower no phone to be able to contacr reception

    9LilitPosted on: 4-24-2025

The room was small but confortable and clean. The shower cabin can be upgraded a bit, but overall the place exceeded my expectations. The location is really good. In a vivid area but surprisingly once you close the windows the noise is gone ))

    Not anything particular

Amazing location, fantastic staff, great breakfast and room was very spacious. The rooftop bar was lovely but very busy.

We were at the back of the hotel facing the tunnel and alcazaba. There's some building going on and it was a bit noisy. As it was Easter weekend it was busy everywhere. Had I been there with friends it would have been no problem but with a child it was quite noisy during the night. Having said all that I'd definitely stay again.

The location if you want to be in the center of Malaga is perfect. It was really nice to have breakfast with a view of the Alcazaba right next to you. The staff was very polite and courteous especially during a very busy time (Semana Santa) when everyone is a bit frazzled. I booked very last minute so I didn't have high expectations, but it surpassed even the reviews. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. And considering the amount of street noise, there was very very little when the windows and shutters were closed.

If you have a room on the third floor, there is quite a bit of noise with furniture being dragged across the floor in the morning from the breakfast room which is above. In the afternoon and evening, there is also quite a queue of people trying to go into the bar and lounge on the top floor so using the lift was difficult at times due to crowding. The bar guests seemed oblivious to the fact that it was a hotel and there were guests. However, the noise throughout the building from this crowd was non-existent which was surprising.

A lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were excellent, particularly the gentleman serving in the breakfast room. Food was very good too. It was genuinely accessible for disabled people which doesn't always happen across European cities.

Very noisy. We were there over a weekend and the noise from the street woke us repeatedly which is not very surprising. However a bigger problem was internal noise : all doors banging and squeaking, sounds of metal trolleys from very early morning. We were on the first floor near the lift and a storage room so perhaps other rooms would not be so effected.

    Central location near everything

The shower was often cold or slow to warm up. We stayed for a week and only got a kettle on our 3rd day but no cups were provided. Also cleaners left us with no towels after cleaning one day. We requested them and they were delivered. The location was very busy and loud at times. The room was a bit small but comfortable.

Absolutely fabulous, clean , comfortable and superb location , great value too !

    7KatinaPosted on: 4-3-2025

    The location is perfect.

The room I stayed in was tiny. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and I felt like I could hear every single noise in the building. Value for money is not justified in my opinion.
