Booking.com lists this property on its hotel filter. IT IS NOT a hotel. We were allowed to make a booking at 11PM on Booking.com, but there was no access to the property when we arrived 20 minutes later. Very difficult to contact the manager. Very difficult to check in. Many calls including to Booking.com itself which was of no use.

Moderna Suites was located behind a big walled in area in a neighborhood. I chose this accommodation because they advertised an "airport shuttle". Turns out they will hire one for you at the cost of $40 each way. When I found this out a day or 2 later by asking to book it, I asked to cancel because I felt misled by that, but they had a no cancellation policy so I stayed. As it turns out, taxi was $20 each way to the airport, which I arranged. It was a tight, cramped single room but was comfortable enough. Ok for 1 night, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Staff at this hotel are so accommodating and friendly. They are a big asset! Offered a kettle for the room, and pool towels are available to hire. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. The location is ideal for the beach and the bus into Malaga town centre. A taxi from the airport was approximately €25 with Uber. The grounds of the hotel are lovely. It is spotless! I liked the fact that the hotel is only small. I am not keen on huge complexes. We used the pool facilities and the sun loungers were very comfy. The pool was cool but nice and refreshing when the weather was warm. I stayed with my mum for 4 nights, and we made use of complementary tea and coffee, water, and ice.

The location of the hotel is good, but you should note it's on a busy road, so there is a lot of traffic noise almost all day. There is air conditioning at the hotel, but the duplex suite that we stayed in was still warm, especially the bedroom upstairs.

The rooms were lovely and clean, little coffee nook upstairs you can help yourself too which we didn't know prior to check in. The colleagues were so friendly and helpful, gave recommendations or directions when we asked and were very encouraging of us speaking Spanish to them (we were practicing, so not perfect) the location was amazing, 5 mins from the beach. The loungers and canopy were so comfortable.Never tried the pool as it wasn't heated and was quite cold in the shade but it's a decent size.

The only thing I didn't like that i didn't know before booking, maybe I misread when booking, but this is a silent hotel. Signs everywhere saying be silent. We're pretty quiet guests, not big drinkers or party-goers but we had a speaker on volume 5 when getting ready to go out at 4pm and was told we needed to turn it off so that was a little annoying as it wasn't loud and was a reasonable time of day.

The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a coffee machine with complimentary coffee.There is no parking available but there is a parking lot nearby so it was not an issue

It is an hour walk from the old town.

The room was clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great as it is close to a beach with bars/restaurants, and is only a short bus ride away from Malaga City Centre.

The property was wonderful! Gorgeous room, relaxing pool and tea/coffee area was a great plus! It is slightly out of the centre but there are buses on your doorstep which a quick and cheap! The staff were lovely and with only a handful of rooms this hotel feels like a boutique, tailored holiday! Thank you - I will definitely return in the future!

Newly renovated property, the rooms were modern and clean. Staff were very friendly. Location was excellent, five minutes walk to beach, with bars and cafes. Buses outside property go to city centre.

Everything was perfect. The bed the room the pool the sunbeds. Every one we met was so kind we had a problem just before we left and they very kindly allowed us to stay in our room longer. We cannot wait to go back

Really comfortable bed. Very spacious and some lovely touches. It was a great location and the room was beautifully designed.

Extra pillows, a bin in the bedroom and a hairdryer might be good.

Superb location , beautiful restored old house with charm and taste . The Persian receptionist was so lovely , funny and helpful . We had a super time . Its location is 100% , can’t wait to go back again . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really nice place. Great room. Lovely people. 5 min from Pedregalego beach. Bus to centre 2 min away.

The check out is 11am. 12 would be nicer!!

Just back from a lovely stay. Staff very friendly. On Tuesday morning the guy on reception could not have done any more for us. He went above and beyond to get us safely to the airport.storm in malaga on Tuesday was unbelievable floods and torrential rains . Would recommend La MODERNA SUITS FOR A RELAXING COUPLES HOILDAY

Location and the type of hotel which is a beautiful house converted in a small hotel.

The bathroom. Extremely small. The toilet, very NOISY and strange.

Lovely place to stay.Not in the heart of Malaga Town however buses were easy, frequent and really cheap!Room was spacious and comfy.No cleaner came in during our stay to make bedding / change towels but we were only there 4 nights.Lovely air con in the room - just what we needed after 32degree heat!Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Gave us good tips regarding buses/restaurants etc.Really close to the beach and some fantastic restaurants.Supermarkets were also really close.Pool and garden area were spotlessly clean.Overall a lovely relaxing stay!
