Easy check in, near the highway and very good breakfast

Superb quality. Clean and comfy non-smoking rooms. Wooden floors and ceiling, and heated tiles in bathroom. Very nice rainforest type shower. Breakfast was perfect - I choose eggs and bacon, and lots of coffee.

The photo of the room shows bathtube but there wasn't. Shower was great though.

Nice countryside around. We booked in the last minute when the prices were very high due to a big event in Nurnberg so this accommodation were still with a reasonable price with very good breakfast included. I would gladly stay there again in case they change mattress which is very hard and mattress topper is in poor quality. Even the nice owner put one more for me it was still not comfy. I guess the place is for young, healthy people. There is 10min drivnig from highway.

Breakfast ends in 9 am. Mattress is so hard and mattress topper is not in a good quality - both needs urgent replacement. All other is excellent.

We spent just one night and it perfectly fulfilled the purpose. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with lot of options.

The noise from the staircase and the corridor can be quite loud.

Great value for the price: it must have been the cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen with a hearty breakfast for little over 50€ a night. Staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend

Quiet place

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel. The room was never cleaned. No clean towells or clean sheets.They said minimum 4 nights for cleaning service. That was all the solution we got.

Our 1-night stay at Hohe Tanne was truly outstanding. Our well-appointed room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet. The wifi worked well. For breakfast, there was an excellent selection of hot and cold offerings. The location was quite good, too -- only 15 minutes by car from Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Hohe Tanne exceeded our expectations in every respect, including the price, which was more than reasonable. The next time we are in the area, we will not hesitate to stay there again.

The room was neat and clean. Hotel staff is helpful and efficient. Very good breakfast provided. Excellent value for money overall.

Check-in was a bit cumbersome. Note on the Doors said that there is no one at the property anf to call the owner. There was also another note that I didn't see, to Press the button. Person resposible for Check-in wanted to show me that he is the Boss and almost did not let me into the room, had to call the owner, who helped and apologized.

The hotel is in a quiet place

The service was not very friendly. The air in the room was so stuffed, no air circulation. The fan was too loud.

Rural location 'in the middle of nowhere', good for onenight quiet stopover, just 5 Km. away from the highway.Good value, quite clean spacious room and nicely renovated bathroom although the one of my room was a little bit small.Easy check-in instruction by mail in case the reception is not attended. Free parking on site and you can relax in the garden and get cold drink from the vending machine.If you are travelling on Monday and Tuesday keep in mind that the some of local restaurants may have their rest day.

Nice location, quiet. There is a fridge in the hallway for the guests to use, which was brilliant. Rooms were clean and tidy, plenty of space. Staff welcomed us and were very helpful. We chose the room with breakfast option- really nice fresh breakfast. Family feeling.

Location not far from highway. Good for one night stay during road trip. Clean and comfortable room. Quiet area. Big Parking. Good staff, they made a call when we was late for check in to confirm that we still arriving and explained everything by phone about the room, parking and breakfast time.
