Hotel Michelangelo

Surprising gem in the little town. Initially you think "meh", it's ok, but then you have dinner across the street in the wonderful cellar and then you wake up the next day and go up to the top for breakfast and are knocked out by the amazing beautiful view surrounding you (as well as a very well appointed breakfast)! The staff is lovely.

We found the nearby parking lot convenient but other patrons did not. It's like a 2 minute walk. I can't think of anything bad to say about this place.

The Location is nice. near to mountain area. people come for marble purchase from cararra city.

bad Wi-Fi. i changed 3 rooms due to this reason. luckily i got one from Wi-Fi router.

A recently refurbished property very modern and stylish Very airy and open in the bar and reception area and all the staff were very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in the guests getting a good experience Particularly the lady who served us breakfast! Genuine hospitality

The breakfast was good but a lacked some touches as the jams etc were commercial and plastic containers for the Nutella etc. it’s a four star hotel but I felt this could have been better , a little bit dated. Also ,there is from pictures , a beautiful terrace on the top floor but it was closed probably because the hotel was not very busy. Again a shame as the guests who are there deserve the same level of amenities regardless of the number of guests. If the terrace had been open I’m sure our experience would be much enhanced and reflected in the review

Nice hotel in the city center. Top floor terrace for breakfast, with a spectacular view over the mountains. Helpful personnel. We have received good recommendations for eating downtown.

I loved the rooftop bar and where we had breakfast. Food, drinks and view were all amazing! Everyone /staff were so nice and helpful! The town at night was a lot of fun and the food was really good. It was so beautiful with marble everywhere ! Went to see the marble mountain and learned a lot!!

Fantastic all round. Stunning roof terrace. Amazing breakfast. Everything brand new and immaculate. Staff very nice and friendly. I hope to come back very soon!

I can't complain about anything at all

Everything about this hotel was fabulous. The staff were friendly and so accommodating. Even the cleaning staff said hello. The views from the rooftop bar were completely stunning and there is a downstairs bar as well. My room was also beautifully designed. It was a great size with clean, modern finish in warm and muted tones. The bathroom offered a touch of opulence with all its coloured marble. The various lighting options in the room also make this hotel a particularly great option for anyone that suffers migraines easily. I will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the region.

The hotel is recently redecorated, in a stunning design.The staff attitude is customer oriented, behind any expectations.The location is perfect to reach any point of interest.Room clean and warm, silent and cozy.The breakfast on the top floor is the best way to start the day, with a wonderful view on the Carrara's mountains.

great location for breakfast and choice of offerings, employees were overwhelming satisfying every guest including us. Front desk were there to satisfy all requests ... Parking , personal request , high floor, away from elevator and a view. With anticipation of needs. Congratulations.Personal tours around the marble caves. Bed quality was good with dark close shades for excellent sleep.All services were extremely professional.

Shower can be very slippery and only rain shower with any hand held spray is difficult. Faucet in wash bowl could have a longer neck toward the middle so splash don't get on the back. Luxury hotels should always look at their amenities in the bath room . 1 small soap.(!) ..plus others with brands.

Staff was friendly. The bathroom and room is far spacious.

The AC - works very poorly and with the hot temperatures, and my room had a lot of sun exposure the only option was to open the windows, but the hotel is near a river and a lot of bugs come in. A lot of them. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.

Breakfast was excellent, with much more variety than most Italian places. Staff were extra friendly, going above and beyond what we expected. View was beautiful.

Not worth the money, stay away!

Several hairs from the last person in our bed. Disgusting!Breakfast is very basic and not alligned with the 4* rating. We paid for a room with a hottub. At arrival they gave us a room without. They told me im sorry, all rooms with hottub are full. They don't want to upgrade the room. After a discussion suddenly there is a room with hottub available. Ridiculous. The level of english from the staff is close to 0.This is not the peoples faulth, they try. But for a 4* hotel this stay was a joke. Don't waste your money

Size of the room. Nicely designed. Very Friendly and helpful receptionist and staff.

No wifi in the room even after informing the reception a few times it never got resolved. Floor not very clean. Window could not close making the room noisy.

They charged 50 Euro for late check out (for 35 minutes) though we were at the reception one hour before and they would not tell us ! We thought about booking for a big party in September which we will not do! The lady at the reception was very unfriendly as well !

Room furnishings and equipment were minimalist. Our room on the first floor was a little noisy.

Everything! The room was very well decorated with modern decor, there was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, and the Carrara old town was only a couple blocks away.

The "free" wifi - I never could get wifi to work on my computer. As a business traveler, this was definitely a problem. However if you want to escape from the world aka internet, I would highly recommend this.
