About
This modern-style hotel is located on one of Granada’s main central streets, a short walk from many of the city’s impressive historic monuments. The central location of the Hotel Presidente by Maxi Hoteles make it ideal for a vacation in this beautiful Andalusian city. It lies a 15 minute walk from Plaza Nueva and the authentic Albaicín district. From there, a regular shuttle bus climbs the hill to the magnificent Alhambra Palace. Completely renovated in 2008, the hotel has a contemporary, minimalist theme throughout. This design makes use of polished marble, a feature in common with much of Granada’s traditional Moorish architecture.

Pros +
- Location was good. Staff are okay.
- Good location. Centered and close to everything.
- Close to everything we wanted to do. Beds comfortable. Staff outstanding at giving directions to the site, to parking garage and best ways to see the sites. For example, bus or taxi to Alhambra and walk home. Specifics where to take the bus from, close restaurants. Would stay again.
Cons -
- Not as nice as appears in photos. Had an issue with a sewage smell in the bathroom that spread to the whole room, and from the staff reaction this is a regular occurrence. Hotel reception is across the street.
- Smelly room. Small room and bathroom. Little space to move around.
- Bathroom was very tight. We hardly moved.

Good location. Clean place. Friendly stuff.
Bathroom was very tight. We hardly moved.
front desk stuff is very welcoming, friendly, knowledgable, and extremely willing to help, best service during our trip, will definitely come back again!
Very spacious room and walking distance to alhambra. Halal food and supermarket just 700m walking. Staff very nice and easy to reach them
No kettle provided
Location. Access to cafeteria in hotel across the road.
Smelly drains. One of the two rooms was very bad and no offer of compensation. Check in across the road and not very welcoming. Expensive for a very basic small room with no toiletries provided but the bed was comfortable and the towels were soft.
Reception and breakfast is in hotel oposite building "hotel Presidente". Under building is parking garage- 19€ a day.
No mattress protectors and sheets too small to tuck in around mattress. Walls extremely thin, could hear every thing in adjoining room
The location ! Very close to the center
The noise inside and outside of hotel : no isolation at all . The staff - tolerant . The breakfast very basic and the staff at the bar looked like they were force to work there
Location of the hotel is very close of the center and only about 1.2km to Alhambra.Breakfast was good, if we compare price/performance.
Our check-in experience started off quite strangely. The receptionist's attitude was far from welcoming. He didn’t seem to care about us or even acknowledge our request for parking, which we had arranged in advance. Maybe it’s just me, but since we prioritize customer service in our hostels, I can’t help but compare.Check-in takes place in a different building, where the receptionist is located. If you need any information upon arrival, you have to go there first. After receiving the details, you then have to take your luggage and head to the opposite building using a provided code. When we arrived at our apartment, we found the door wide open. Did they know we were coming? Was this their way of welcoming us? That would have been nice—if only it were true. Instead, upon stepping inside, we discovered that the room hadn’t even been cleaned. So, back to the receptionist we went. After informing him about the situation, he simply changed our room number and sent us on our way—without a single apology. Just like that.Bad experience, there is space to improve in my opinion (receptionist attitude or the cleaning assistance).
Very nice, modern and clean room, good location
It would be nice to have possibility to make tea or coffee
Reception via Hotel opposite in January.
Stayed in January. Reception was closed and so was managed for checkin etc by Hotel opposite. One day water was off 9am to midday. There was a warning sign on front door but we failed to notice it. It would have been more helpful if a note was sent to each room.
No Windows.. there was some small Window and you see next house wall .. and nobody told this in advertising text.
Too expensive If you look room standardt
Great location for walking around centre and easy journey to Sierra Nevada. Comfortable bed, rooms have some small signs of "wear and tear" from use but nothing that would affect your stay. Nicely decorated. Love that it has Rituals toiletries in bathroom. Parking conveniently located. Breakfast is good (it's located at sister hotel opposite). Good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff - always greeted with a "buenos días" by everyone we passed.
Central, rooms were warm during cold weather
A little noisy from the room next door
The location was amazing. The room was rather small deception staff was very attentive and helpful.
The beds were old and a little worn out. There was no option of making coffee or tea or to warm food with a microwave at the facility.
It was clean and cozy and located in the centre of the city.
The staff I met when I checked out was so rude and unkind. I paid the price, including breakfast, and breakfast was supposed to start at 7:30 except on Sundays, so I booked an early bus to another area. However, when I arrived, it said that breakfast was available from 9:30 on January 1st. When I asked about some refunds or other possible services, they didn't answer online at first, and when I met them in person, they didn't listen to me as soon as I started talking and kept repeating "nope" and got angry and told me to call the reservation company. There was no apology at all. It was just plain rude. Also, there was no trash can in the room, and there no coffee pot or tea. It was clean but uncomfortable.
Location good, parking space good.Cleaning services good.
