    • great location and staff

    Cons -

    • They don¿t have labels on the rooms so the front desk has to point and tell you which one it is, but he told me the wrong one. One of the lights flickered so I just kept it off during my stay. When balcony is open, the bars on street create noise.
    • the hotel lobby was a little cold but the room was warm
    • Wifi didn’t work at all. While I respect the hotel policy, I struggled having no bathroom slippers in freezing weather or facial tissues. Using toilet roll next to WC isn’t tasteful. There can be one dispenser in room with same roll in a presentable container. Would be great to have a vanity kit too.Another thing I found in contrast was bright vanity bulbs around mirrors and no soft light option in bathroom. It was really disturbing in the night.

The hotel is in an old building and repurposed carefully with a concept of respecting the environment and sustainability. Everything is carefully designed. The rooms are themed in history. My room was big and had two balconies filling up daylight. There is an effort towards bringing people together by giving a beautiful common room for free tea and coffee. The breakfast was served in a cistern like place with one long dining table. I think that’s wonderful to sit together and eat. The staff is very polite and helpful and do their best to accommodate. I had a great time.

Stunning hotel, lovely rooms and lounge. Perfect location for exploring Granada.

    Nothing it’s virtually perfect.

Super convenient walk from the train station, lovely building, reception, communal area and room. Super helpful staff!

    Nothing, it was lovely

    Great location and beautiful decor

I understand it is an old hotel however the smell of sewage woke us up in the middle of the night.

    10DavidPosted on: 1-19-2026

It was a fantastic stay, a lovely space, very professional and friendly bilingual staff, comfortable bed, good vibes, and good location (in the thick of it but not noisy). The parking was convenient too. The inner courtyard space was beautiful and somewhere that you could hang out in. All in all a great stay.

I liked our stay a lot. Anything else to suggest here would only be for marginal gains. The only things I could think of that could be better would have been to have a more comfortable bed cover (not that it wasn't comfortable enough) as the bed and mattress were amazing, and also for there to be slightly more on offer at breakfast (not that there wasn't a good variety of food at a great level because there was).

Staff very helpful. Central location although streets could be noisy at night. Comfortable bed. Spacious clean room.

    Breakfast not appetising

Beautiful building and room, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location. Absolutely loved this stay!

    10MaryPosted on: 12-28-2025

Loved our 3 night stay at Gar Anat. The location was excellent for going to the Alhambra. We also took the trains from the train station and it was a very easy walk to get there. The bed was very comfortable, the hot water was hot, a small mini fridge was perfect for our few food items. We really liked having the room at the very top, we had views of the Alhambra and it felt very private up there. Loved this place, wish we had more time in Granada, it's a very special city and this is a very special hotel. We hope to return!

Wonderful front desk Perfect location near all the shopping Breakfast was very goodRoom was spacious and clean

I wish room had a full length mirror

    10CarlyPosted on: 12-18-2025

The location was superb. Just up the road is the 30/32 bus to the Alhambra which leaves frequently and only costs 1.50€ which you can pay with contactless. There is also a lovely bar 2min away and several more bars and restaurants in 1-2min walk. We used Parking Victoria which was a short walk then to the hotel. The staff was lovely and the room was spacious and had all we needed. Safe, fridge, free water. The breakfast was in a lovely setting

The breakfast for 19€ was a little dissapointing, but just a bit. I will never under why hotels pre fry eggs and let them sit there to get cold. Who on earth wants to eat a cold fried egg??? Better not to offer it at all or even better to offer to make eggs à la minute.

Central location. The staff went above and beyond. Even before we arrived. A special shout out to Magda who organised a couple of things before we even arrived. Superb. Wonderful room and a lovely breakfast, again where nothing was too much trouble.

    Location, ambience and staff attention.

Rooms are lovely and historic, but very dark. Staff did their best to improve for my stay.

Everything. The location. The attention to detail. The care of the staff. The decor

    9PatrickPosted on: 11-30-2025

The room, the courtyard sitting space and the aroma of the place was lovely. Also the staff were so friendly and helpful

    7RichardPosted on: 11-27-2025

Beautiful building and reception area. Friendly staff.

Bedroom was very odd…not very practical and a bit tatty tbh. I would definitely not call it boutique!

    10richardPosted on: 11-25-2025

Loved the huge bed and soft linens and the airy room. Juliet at reception was above and beyond in helping us get settled in and booking an evening in the caves of dance. The overalll vibe was great and the breakfast very nice.

    Liked it all!

    9ShawnPosted on: 11-24-2025

We loved this charming hotel! The room was spacious and nicely appointed, with delightful art and everything we needed. The location was excellent, within walking distance of everything, although the traffic outside was loud when we had the windows open. The staff was welcoming and professional, and tended to all our needs. We would stay here again!
