You can also climb the hill to reach the Alhambra – one of the most inspiring monuments in Europe. The city center is also just a 5-minute drive away. Pros +

    • Staff very nice and always trying to help.
    • Parking was available on the street. The man who checked us in was very helpful, he switched us rooms because the mini fridge was not working, he gave us some ice to cool our drinks and he brought us a New Years toast and chocolates!
    • The bed was comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is decent.

    Cons -

    • There is no free parking at the hotel like advertised. There is free parking on street but there is never any parking available. There is very few spots but always busy. I didn't have any other choice then paid for the parking at the hotel which was 10 euro per day.
    • The mini fridge in the first room was not functioning at all and in the second room it was very under powered and dirty. We put our drinks outside the window where it was cooler. There was a lot of hair around the bed legs and the shower drain was slow.
    • The bathroom needs a refresh. It's very old school with a bath tub and a curtain.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. Perfect location, close to the Alambra and easy to get to downtown by public transport. Good parking and delicious breakfast.

A great place to stay, very near the Alhambra palace entry. The room was big and very comfortable. We also had a balcony. The lady at the reception was very helpful and nice in showing us the parking. Also she has a lot of tips regarding the entry to Alhambra and the city in general.

Friendly reception. Very comfortable beds. Nice hot shower. Quiet. Heating very effective kept us warm. Easy 10 minute bus route direct to Granada centre or up to Alhambra. We were lucky and got a free parking space after hanging around a little bit. We went out for breakfast so no comment on that.

Very nice hotel staff. Close to the Alhambra, direct bus nearby. It's hard to find parking spaces on the street, but the hotel has its own parking lot.

Listen to the other reviews… The staff were excellent, the rooms very clean and functional and so cost effective.

Very little, the breakfast wasn’t overly great but perfectly acceptable for €6 and set us up for skiing each morning.

Small room with nice bathroom.Good bed, powerful air conditioning.Hotel with convenient access from the highway, close to the Alhambra.

The room was quite small, it was quite cold in the hotel, but the air conditioning was quite powerful, so it was possible to heat up quickly. There wasn't much place to shop in the area.

For those who want to stay halfway between Granada's city center and the Alhambra Palace, this is an excellent location. It’s 3 km from the center, about a 30-minute walk, with a bus stop for line 33 nearby. The bus runs every 10 minutes to the center, and tickets can be purchased directly on board. The Alhambra is 2 km away, and there’s also a convenient bus line to get there.A major advantage is the secure private parking located right under the hotel, offered at a very reasonable price. The hotel owner speaks English, is incredibly friendly and helpful, and provided us with plenty of information, a map, and detailed explanations on how to reach various sites.Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in a peaceful part of the city and enjoy a warm, family-like atmosphere!

The room was clean and comfortable for a family of three. The front desk people are very helpful and there's free street parking.

Very welcoming in Reception. My room was very clean, and I slept well. Breakfast was toast, juice and coffee, sufficient for me. Other options available. Only 1 night stay, but I will certainly stay again. Parking was very busy, but they went out of their way to ensure I got the next available space.

    Only 1 night stay!

There was no street parking available and we used the hotel's parking facilities which were very convenient. The proprietor was helpful when it came to the parking and explaining the security there. The breakfast was very nice and set us up for the morning ahead. It is very convenient for public transport in and out of Granada.

Basic hotel but very clean, members of the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extra but excellent value.

Hotel Albero is an excellent choice for an overnight stay if you're planning to visit the Alhambra, 5 minutes from Alhambra. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. There is also the option of free street parking around the hotel. The quality-price ratio is good

Air conditioning is working poorly, but it wasn't too big of a problem

    8GeorgmirekPosted on: 9-5-2024

The hotel is in the suburbs, but has a good bus connection to centre, also walkable (we did one time). Has a parking garage for 10€ a day, very useful!Staff was super friendly. Hotel is very quiet and had such a comfy bed, we slept so good! Good value for money! Taxi to Alhambra took around 5 minutes, recommended because walk there is very long uphill battle :D

Air conditioning is working poorly, nearly zero effect, but it wasn't too big of a problem in the end. Breakfast is a bit shy but very cheap on the other hand.

    10MantasPosted on: 8-24-2024

Staff very helpful and also sweet, the quality-price ratio is nice, close is parking space. ?

    Nothing in particular.

Staff was welcoming and went out of their way to assist. Provided information about getting around on the bus. My wife drinks tea and they were readily willing to provide hot water at almost any hour.
