Grand Hotel Cesenatico

The breakfast was excellent with a selection of fruits, cooked breakfast and pastries. The location was right on the beach and close to all the amenities and restaurants.There is also ample parking for hotel guests infront of the hotel.

I don't like that the shower is in the bath.

Been coming here for years. The pool is wonderful, cool and often not crowded. Plenty of sun chairs. The beach is nice, the location central, often there are activities in the square outside. Some of the staff were exceptional in their attempt at servicing our needs.

The water in the sea was dirty and warm, the breakfast buffet increasingly frugal over the years, impossible to book the tennis court at any time I asked usually because it was used by a tennis coach. Air conditioning variable. Large amount of staff at the beach but appeared to be more interested in socialising amongst themselves than providing service to hotel guests. Put in an annexe to share with members of staff despite being regular guests and having been coming for 20 years. Beds not as requested and needed to be made up later. Moving to more comfortable rooms we had thought we had boked only acknowledged if we paid more!

In general it was nice. Bar and restaurant personnel was great.

Paying for hotel private beach after season when there are 5 couples in total is inappropriate, specially with the price of the hotel.Also the restaurant was closed and nobody informed us in advance.Rooms are very old and specially in the bathroom it would be good to upgrade :-)

We had an amazing stay, really attentive and friendly staff, nice pool and beach, food was great. Looking forward to coming back here!

Staff were incredible, so friendly and helpful. The parking situation is always an issue when i travel as there's usually some stupid fee or catch. This hotel simply had spaces outside, no fees or charges which was great. The room was clean and decently sized, AC worked well.

Great location, helpful staff

I was told that using the beach cost €15 per day, but then was charged €40 for it when checking out.No international TV channels seemed to be available.

cesenatico has good restaurants

wifi very bad, slow and constantly disconnecting. room small, no chair for desk. no electric socket on one side of the bed. bathtub and shower too high, very difficult to step in and out, and dangerous. during five days stay the elevator (just one small one for the whole hotel) did not work for four days. sea not clear, and very flat so that one has to walk in long to swim. room at € 300 / night is three times of what it should cost

Location and services and cleanliness

The rooms were not updated. Bed was VERY uncomfortable -just two hard, small mattresses pushed together! Pillows were like sleeping on a bag of socks. Terrible.

Bar, breakfast and Beach was perfekt.

The room need to be upgraded.
