    Pros +

    • People make the difference. The staff is really friendly and accurate. The venue is nicely decorated and very clean. It was cold outside as it was in November but they pre-heated my room. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was also fresh and tasteful.
    • Friendly staff and a good location for the north beach and further south if the ferry is running. Convenient for the train station and not far from restaurants and bars. My room was a reasonable size though the bathroom and balcony were tiny with only space for one person on the balcony. I had a standard room so maybe there were more luxurious options. My main disappointment was the lack of wifi in the room. It's apparently only available on the ground floor.
    • Perfectly located cosy family run hotel offering all the amenities and facilities to meet a traveller's basic needs. Breakfast is from 8 to 10 am and offers a good mix of sweet and savory options. The family running the place is extremely welcoming and outgoing. Great value for money!

    Cons -

    • There was nothing I did not like.
    • Tiny bathroom. Not to dwell too much on it but it was necessary to get on the loo sideways and the bidet was there too tick boxes but far too close to the wall to use.I specifically searched for a property with wifi and assumed that it would be available in the rooms - this is 2024! I had to ask for the password to use the network available on the ground floor and then had difficulty actually connecting to the internet.Air conditioning was confusing until I realised that the monstrosity attached to the ceiling, though kind of working, had been superseded by a smaller unit with a remote control.

If you are thinking of Cesenatico or Rimini choose this hotel! A wonderful 50's style hotel with many recently refurbished rooms. The pleasant surprise was that through booking.com we had half board. Marco's cooking was delicious, we stayed an extra day just to enjoy it. Also the restaurant was at humble prices when you think about eating along the beautiful inland port. This backed up with the marvelous service from the reception team. A wonderful little hotel with a big heart, highly recommended!
