Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna

Location was great. Breakfast was fantastic.

Check in staff was not very helpful. Had a lot of unanswered questions

Very big hôtel. Not expected. Lots of families and kids. No real surveillance around the site. Food was just ok. Didn't specify on booking the facility was for families mostly

Everything was excellent as usual: room, facilities. sea view, staff, cleanliness, restaurant...

Difficulties with shower water temperature: boiling hot or cold....

The property is beautifl, newly renovated hotel, pristine clean and comfortable with a really nice and variable breakfast

However, the staff of the Plava Laguna hotel we definitely disliked because they misinformed about pool usage. In hotel Sipar there isnt a pool but we were told we can go to hotel Umag and pay an additional fee. So we went there, but we came a bit after 8 pm so they told us to come in the morning. But in the morning my kids and I came to hotel Unag again, and instead of being greated and accepted and allowed into pool spa welness facilities, they just told us at the reception that this is no longer an option for outside guests. And that we need to go to garden istra hotel by a car to use their pool. Since I also neede to attend the umag race there wasnt enough time so in the end we were able to enjoy the pool for only about 20 minutes. Why werent we told the roght information right away and not being sent here and there with my kids who experienced disappointment three times

We really apreciciated the food and the staff. Nice view from the balcony. And very good for children - playgrounds next to the hotel.

The hotel could have indoor swimming pool and wellness what would be very suitable for stays out of the season.

Good if you take superior room with sea view. Otherwise you overlook bad kept courtyard.

Rooms are spacious. The beach is located at the front of the Hotel. The breakfast is one of the best.

They could not provide dental kits like a toothbrush and paste. There is an aircon but not working. The hotel is old. The swiming pool was closed.

The hotel has a nice location, it is a little further from the centre, but in a quiet area with access to the beach. The room we had on the 2f. was nice with a balcony, the hotel is city and the food is good

it is further away from the centre, so spending time in the centre and walking back and forth is more demanding, but for us was ok

Everything was excellent, as usual: staff, location, meals, cleanliness, room. It's a seafront hotel, with beautiful sea view and a lot of sunshine.

Great pool, playgrounds and activities for kids! The food was amaizing, for all types of flavoures.

Staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast and dinners were good with decent variety offered. There is no charge for sunbeds. Pool/beach towels are provided. Clean and good-sized rooms with balconies. A welcome drink is provided.

There is no free bottled water in the room. Most of the parking is unpaved/gravel. There is no garage or covered parking.

The whole stuff was nice and professional The water at the beach (and also the beach) was clean

An amazing hotel with everyday cleaning, helpful staff, delicious food, a lot of activities for kids. Beautiful views.

It was a surprise for me that we needed to pay for water during dinner. Drinks are only included in the morning.

Room cleaning was good. Daily fresh towels. Buffet meals are good quality and give a wide choice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Inclusive membership of Punta Pool club was great. Sea is warm and buoyant.

Too much of the resort area is given to car parks so there is not enough green space. Bikes and electric scooters going along the pathways are a menace to pedestrians. Smoking by the pools and in bars is annoying. No chance of securing a sunbed at the hotel unless one is really early. Pools are really child size and depth but the hotel is next to the sea.

Breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning was very helpful. Daily cleaning. The pools were right next to the hotel, and the sea was also right next to the hotel.

Unfortunately, the same problem as during our last stay two years ago. We stayed during the third week of July. Although the hotel tried to solve the problem with seating in the dining room by dividing the rooms into two time slots, unfortunately, it had no effect. We didn't go early or late in our time slot, and four out of five days we had to wait for a free table. It was very frustrating considering we were traveling with small children. I never looked forward to meals because I was worried about finding a table. I wish the hotel luck in resolving this in the future, perhaps by fully opening the second dining room, which they only let us into twice and only in part. The second time, we also couldn't find a table there. You have to sit at a table with dirty, uncleared dishes and wait for them to clean it, if you even find an empty table with dirty dishes...

Perfect location and perfect hotel for the families with the small kids. Food was excellent, breakfast and dinner included. Friendly staff, and lot of fun for children.

Main problem for us was (maybe only in our room) that water in the shower was impossible to set on the medium. Either it was ice cold, or "boiling" hot. And maximum water pressure was 4 on scale 1-10.Parking is in the open area on the tarmac, under the sun. Guests are paying small additional cost.
