Hotel Bella Italia

The beautiful campus and gardens, the proximity to walk to and along Lake Garda, the friendly staff, the quiet pools near the hotel, the hard working, friendly staff, the breakfast.

Pools and kids water slides.

The areas outside were dirty, the site was a little run down, ie when you turned on a light it would flicker for a bit then turn on, the room had a sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Stayed in the apartment and it was kind of spartan/bare and not too comfortable, didn't want to spend much time here, which was the plan all along, nor had any interest in the restaurants. The front desk wasn't too friendly/ helpful.

Nothing really but breakfast wasn’t brilliant It was exactly what a family resort would be. Not our taste but absolutely fine.

Apartment room was wonderful and spacious, breakfast a little basic but fine. Pool is very cold but also quiet and peaceful when we visited.

Could have been a few more vegetarian options at breakfast but otherwise a decent selection. The pool water was very cold!

Brilliant location, super amazing facilities very impressed. Stayed in a rustic apartment and was cleaned every day, which we did not expect, so a lovely surprise. Lovely restaurants on site, best red velvet cake ever! Staff all so helpful. So much to do perfect for a family but also for those seeking a little more adventure.

Pool facilities were fab for the kids. Even the more fussy one! So much on offer to see and do on site/ nearby. Great choice of restaurants and staff really friendly and helpful.

That we didn't stay here longer!

Apartment is ok - very rustic (I.e. very old!). It was clean and staff spoke good English. You can access the neighbouring camping site (although it’s crazy busy!!!). We had a lovely meal though in one of the restaurants.

We stayed in the Apartments which is a building close to the main hotel building. Our apartment (4) overlooked sports fields of the camping resort (which you have access to). Flood lights stayed on the entire night and the light shone into the room all night - the blinds are not good enough to block out the light so we struggled to sleep. Worse still is that people played football until 2am, making it more difficult to sleep. Finally, the room is near the recycling so you get woken up at 7am to the sound of the recycling truck! We left after only one night and would not stay again. It is very busy and noisy, cannot sleep and relax. No offer of a refund on the second nights stay so it was an expensive stay for one night!!!!! I do not recommend.

Needed an iron at the hotel which was not available and not provided. All other hotels provide basic iron to iron clothes. The big water slides and activities are a 5 to 10min walk from this hotel at the camping area The pool at the hotel was for very small kids.

Indoor pool was tiny, down in a basement beside car park, I did not feel comfortable letting my son down on his own, he is a teenager and an excellent swimmer but I could not take a chance.

We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel and the indoor pool facilities were good. It was also great that we could use the campsite facilities as well as the hotels.

Staff were friendly. Room was large.Access to the lake was nice. All the camping services would be perfect in summer (we went in Spring)

We stayed in the Tulip apartments which are very 'dated' I was woken in the night by a loud constant noise which I think was the hot water boiler?? The indoor spa is very old.

I liked that they have packed up our breakfast, as we have informed that will check out earlier in the morning before the breakfast time. Was a nice and thoutfull surprise.

Room temperature could be cooler but staf was helpfull to find a remedy.

Breakfast was satisfactory with more than enough choice. Poolside was great with wonderful friendly staff.

It was clean and comfortable......not alot of places near by for dinner hotel itself not good breakfast very very limited for price we paid
