Hotel Buena Onda

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Buena Onda in Peschiera del Garda, it easily became our favourite stop of the entire Italy trip. The breakfast was genuinely one of the best we experienced, great omelette with cheese.The hotel is modern, clean and in a quiet yet convenient spot.

The breakfast variety was good for us, but if you stay several days you may notice repetition.

The location was perfect with easy and convenient parking. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, they responded to our every request.

We noticed a significant number of insects entering the room whenever the window was left open. This affected our comfort during the stay. While this may be due to the surrounding environment, the hotel could have addressed it by installing screens on the windows. In addition, there were visible marks left by the bugs on the walls and ceiling, which slightly took away from the overall sense of cleanliness.

Staff - everyone was so welcoming and warm! Alessandra and her family were very accommodating and helpful. We had to leave early one of the mornings and they made an exception for us to have breakfast early. All the staff were very friendly! Breakfast was delicious and everything was home made and fresh!! We had to move rooms because of availability and the staff accommodated that and moved our things! Location was also great - close to both the train station and the center! It was definitely- home away from home!

Very friendly staff. They were able to accommodate a late check in. Location within 10 minutes to buses/trains/ferries. Very clean. Bright, comfortable bedding and furnishings. Exemplary continental breakfast with a wide variety of fresh fruit, different breads and buns, cold cuts. They also will prepare eggs with request. Overall, the hotel enabled us to enjoy a wonderful time in the Garda region. Fantastic value.

This is not within the hotel's control but the region can be quite humid.

I liked how close the hotel was to the main attractions and they had a fair number of parking spaces available. The breakfast served was a decent variety with some of the best soft boiled eggs I've ever eaten.

I liked everything, except for a small accident where a child entered our room in the morning, presumably because she got the master key from the reception after loosing hers.

Hotel was beautifully clean, location was great, about 10 mins walk to train station and centre of town

Breakfast, not huge but had a lovely and tasty selection. Two sweet hotel dogs. Sweet staff/ host family. Close to restaurants and city. Free parking. Modern rooms and bathroom. Large and cool terrace. Water and bubbles waiting for us in the suite. Very helpful intro to the room and guidance to area. Very clean everywhere, good daily cleaning in room. We recommend!!

The location of the hotel is perfect; 15 minutes away from the center and train station, and 10 minutes away from the bus station.The hotel is on a quiet street, so during the night it was really quiet.Also, the breakfast was excellent. I loved the cookies.

Hotel Buena Onda is perfectly located; close to the old town and also to the train station for day trips. It is really clean and modern but also has a really homely feel. A family run hotel; the staff are attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice. We booked the suite which was very spacious, clean and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teens.

This hotel is a gem, we stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's in a quite location but only a 5 minute walk to the area with restaurants and bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was perfect and breakfast was great. we will definitely stay here again if we visit the area and would highly recommend it.

Nothing to dislike.

The rooms where very clean and the staff very helpful. The owners obviously put a lot of effort in to making this a pleasant place to stay. The breakfast was really good and the location was both quiet and close to the train station. I would happily recommend staying here.

Everything, the quiet location which is convenient for both the town centre and the train station. The hotel is immaculate and the family and staff are always really friendly and helpful.

Very spacious clean room with three balconies. Wish we had been staying more than one night. The breakfast was very good also.

Nice hotel, the staff was really nice. We deliberately chose a slightly cheaper accomodation in this range because we couldn't find anything truly 5 star on short notice. So we obviously didn't expect a 5star hotel. This is by far the nicest building around. Its close to the centre and beach, has a nice pool area which not a lot of guests use so its a very good place to chill for a couple of hours. Breakfast was (I think) catered to the UK guests a bit. Lots of eggs, toast, juices etc. More than enough to choose, also for us who prefer a lighter breakfast. Parking wasn't closed off or protected but it doesn't need to be in this area, I'd leave a 100k car there without worries. Maybe not a ferrari though ;). Airconditioning was fine, the room was small but had 2 little balconies. The sinks built in plug didn't work perfectly and the bidet made the bathroom feel a bit cramped. Some sewery smells when I stept into the shower the first time but perfectly clean otherwise. All in all more than I'd expect at this pricepoint. We didn't do any fine dining so had no need for a dry cleaners service etc so cant tell you even if they have the option. For anyone that just needs a nice room and wants to go outside during the day and have food at night its perfect. The hotel is dog friendly but our room was spotlesss; no evidence that a dog had ever set foot in the room. Had a really pleasant 3 days here.

Little things. Sink needs a little help to drain. Shower had some sewery smell untill I let the water run for a bit. Bathroom too small to force a bidet in it. But nothing that was truly not-likeable for a hotel of this price. Pleasantly surprised.

Spotless clean, great room and breakfast, well situated, quiet, easy to park for free around the corner… What a great place to stay in Garda!The hosts, simply adorable.

Lovely hotel and staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and terrace was amazing.
