Active Hotel Paradiso

Wouldn’t recommend.

Not a 4 star experience. We booked through Booking and got no check-in info. Arrived at 11:45 PM, only to find reception is at some other building with no notice. Staff were outside smoking, and the “head of reception” yelled at me (a female guest) for stopping briefly in front of the entrance, threatening not to check us in. Shockingly rude and unprofessional. Hotel is old, with poor heating and unfriendly staff. Definitely not recommended.

Breakfast - fresh, a lot of choise.Garage for parking.All employees speak good english.During breakfast our room was cleaned and with new towles, water and coffee.

Bed is very big but not comfortable at all, air conditione is set on the highest speed, which you can't change, only on or off.Room had bath not shower and no balcony.Receptione on another location. We asked for check in 1 hour before original time, which was refused, but as we waitted more then 30 min for check in, they gave us the room 10 min before the original check in.

Absolutely loved this hotel, it was so much more than I was expecting! I was given a lovely quiet room as requested and there were so many pools to choose from! The one my daughter preferred has a water slide & there were organized activities... it was so good we didn't manage to leave the last day for sightseeing in Verona! ? The shuttle into Peachiera del Garda was a huge bonus and an efficient service. Breakfast was excellent and we chose to eat on a panoramic terrace overlooking the golf course. I don't play golf but I very much enjoyed this place. We want to return!

Not the fault of the hotel but an over competitive father in the water polo match deliberately injured my daughter, leaving bad bruises & I wish the staff at the time had taken this more seriously.

We had steps in our apartment and they where very dangerous. The hotel bar didn't exist the resort is too scattered over a large site. No life or entertainment in our hotel.

Lack of signage around the property which made it hard to find our rooms upon arrival at night time. No wifi in our room.

Indoor pool dated, some functions not working. The bathroom mirror was dirty, and the AC was centralised, so you could not adjust room temperature, but I had to ask at the reception to change the temperature. No WiFi in the hotel room nor in the breakfast restaurant. One plug in the room wasn't working, and one lamp button was fixed with tape. Pity that there was no balcony, as there is no space to hang out wet towels/swimming suits.One pool area was full of mosquitoes.

Our room was clean and spacious with two rooms and a bathroom, more akin to a small apartment. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom (although a bit outdated) had plenty of room for two. Facilities at the hotel were great. Daily room cleaning if desired, an underground parking garage, and multiple pools nearby. The hotel is situated next to the golf course. The grounds are kept tidy, with lots of green everywhere you look. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Lots of sweet and savory options, with great coffee, and a nice outdoor terrace overlooking the grounds.

Room was not very clean, in the bathroom we had cockroaches. The staff did nothing about it, they only offered to clean the bathroom additionally. However, we did not notice that anything was cleaned after returning to the room. No one said even sorry for the issue and they completly ignored the problem. You better avoid this hotel!

The room was fine but nothing special. I thought it was weird that different room prices get different size tv's and different wi-fi speeds. IMO in 2024 wi-fi should be everywhere.The sauna was working fine so thats good.

The only reason i picked this hotel for one night was because i was driving thru and wanted a spa that dind't cost extra. Sadly i was quite disappointed... The indoor pool was dirty and the ladder nearly gets ripped out when being used. On the other end of the pool theres a whirlpool that activates by pushing a button under water. Sadly that doesnt work and the screws are poking out.Theres a steam room that doesn't work. Theres 2 cold showers with 2 settings but it diesn't make a difference which one you press cause half the holes are clogged. Theres also a drinking fountain thats always on but tbh no one was sure if it really is one. It looks like it never gets cleaned so we stayed clear of it. The floor was very slippery with wet feet, i felt like it was quite slimy and didn't get the feeling that it gets cleaned often. Overall the spa area got quite old. Theres 2-3 plant in rusting vases, theres 5 lamps above the pool but only 1 works.Overall for the price i was expecting more and was disappointed.

You can't set the check out at 10:00am if check in is at 3pm... And you cannot instruct the receptionist to pester the clients calling them non stop from 9:30am until they have checked out (they called us 3 times between 9:30 and 10:15

The pools and the fact that the rules were cool to enjoy, nobody strictly closing areas.
