Hotel San Benedetto

Great staff, and super breakfast. Nice rooms, spacious and very clean. Will go back for sure and reccomend to friends.

The air conditioner didn’t work.

The toilet is not easy to use. Not kid friendly hooks.

Our stay at Hotel San Benedetto was delightful, marked by the welcoming and attentive service at reception. The property offered convenient amenities such as on-site parking, a refreshing pool, and a satisfying breakfast each morning. While the room was compact, it was impeccably clean and furnished with everything necessary for a pleasant visit. The location proved ideal, within walking distance of Peschiera del Garda’s charming center and just a short drive from the picturesque town of Sirmione and other scenic destinations.

I was travelling with my motorbike in the months of July and August! - All the prices in Italy are high at this time,.For 1 night it was fine. Nothing to lament about.

It was quite a walk to the centre of town. But via the lake was a lovely walk around 40 minutes . Hourly bus available to town

Perfect budget hotel for a one night stay. Exercising was clean and tidy, had everything we needed. The staff were all lovely and happy for a chat and recommendations. The pool was excellent and they had extended the opening hours as it was such a hot day, so great to have a night swim to cool off.

Nice room, nice staff. Continental breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Nothing to do with the hotel, transportation is difficult. Although there's a bus stop near the hotel the buses are scheduled once an hour and buses stop early. I recommend hiring a car. It's easy to drive there.

The lake was fantastic, about 5-10 minutes walking. Big Lidl until 21:30 nearby. Lakeview from thy roof window. Excelent breakfast.

Limited room hight in the attic (but that makes room cheaper than others I guess). Quite far from the railway station.

Polite staff, responds to your requests. Normal breakfast. Not so small swimpool is opened till 22:00.Near the hotel: moto rent, bicycle rent, EuroSpin, Lidl, Saponeria.

My room was 307 and it was really small but the bathroom was tiny. The distance between the washbasin and shower cab was very small, there is no space to get normally to toilet.

The bar closes already at 9pm. Even on saturday. So not open anymore after dinner

Staff very friendly. Good choice at breakfast. It's a budget hotel and so you get what you pay for; hotels like this are really great for travellers on a budget. My only "complaint" is noted above .

The toilet was situated so close to the shower that it was difficult to sit on! A bigger person might not have managed it at all!

I booked a room with a view, but the minute my reservation was completed, the response was that it was an attic room with skylight. No window, no view, no exit in case of fire. I was able to secure a room with a terrace for €10 more, but no real view because the only view is mostly parking lot. And be aware that the lake pictures are accurate, but two blocks away.
