Hotel Palazzo del Garda & Spa

The breakfast was perfect, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon,omelet on request and tasty pastry, and a smoothie machine.

Cute little hotel a little ways off the main strip. They gave us the handicapped accessible room on the ground floor but it turned out being super convenient and clean. Breakfast was delicious and fresh everyday.. Staff was really nice and gave us great recommendations for dinners within walking distance.

It was about a 30 minute walk downhill from the train station. There were no cabs to be found or Ubers to be ordered. Luckily it wasn’t too hard to get downhill with our luggages. But it wasn’t any fault of the hotel. And they helped us order a cab in advance for our return trip so we wouldn’t have to walk uphill with our luggage.

Rooms were clean, excellent breakfast , staff was super friendly , nice pool and jacuzzi although we haven t used them , celebrated one of family members and staff offered prosecco vouchers for all !

Room was a bit small but we had a balcony, missing shower gel in all rooms , bed cover was worn / anesthetic

Very nice hotel with amazing staff. Shame the spa doesn’t open until 11. I prefer it in the morning but my own fault for not checking. Balcony was great, looking out over the river. The staff really make this hotel. Would 100% return.

Room was slightly small, but it’s not a place you spend much time in the room so it wasn’t an issue. Spa opening times were later than I would have liked.

The staff is friendly and hotel is clean. They offer spa which you have to book, but its for free. Booking ensures its max 4 people using it at the same time, so its very comfortable.

It would be nice if they also had gym.

staff were really helpful, especially Angela. A 20 min stroll along the lake into the town which was perfect. Hotel is small and personal and private. Breakfast was great and such a wide choice of food. Buses run frequently from train station to v near the hotel (5 min walk)

Am struggling here!! some extra hooks in the room to hang towels and robes. otherwise I can't think of anything

Good sized rooms/spa if required. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.

Too far from town centre. No taxis or buses. Only table seating in bar for eight persons. Bar closed at 10pm.

Nice swimming pool with ice cold water - nobody is using it. For the room price and 4 stars, the water in the swimming pool should be warm and usable. Last year was the same ?

Fantastic hotel, great facilities good pool and exceptional breakfast. All the staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us.

Great staff, nice quiet location that's easily walkable from the town centre/ train station. Breakfast was tasty and varied.

Pool was a little chilly but I suppose that's to be expected for September!

Professional and welcoming staff. Nice bar area. 19 minutes walk to centre. For two nights we had a room with balcony overlooking the pool and with lake view which was really pleasant. For the two nights prior we had an economy room which was very small. If you have two large suitcases you will not be able to keep them open.

Economy room could use a redesign for travellers with full luggage otherwise fine for carry on size luggage.

Bits of the room were falling apart, the tv surroundings, hole in the wall. Felt like it would have been great 10 years ago but needs maintenance now.

Close to town and the beach. Rooms with balconies are a good decent size. It was clean. Breakfast is very good and plenty of it. Great range of food to suit everyone

Economy rooms were quite small for two people.

Even tho a car parking is available it is quiet small and it’s hard to find some place somewhere else

The hotel is located in a quiet place a bit away from nightlife center, but still close to the lake and it’s beaches. Main attractions are within 15 min walk. The place is very clean, and there’s a very clean swimming pool that’s good also for kids, as the depth ranges from 1.20 to 1.50 Breakfasts are copious and tasty, with great coffee. And the staff is really nice and helpful!

It’s actually not about the hotel itself, but the town-taxis are hardly available, buses run rarely and it’s better to rent a car
