Hotel Moniga

I was pleasantly surprised how amazing this hotel was. It was super clean and the bed was so comfortable. The room was large and the washroom had so many clean towels and a large shelf to place toiletries. I only stayed one night but wished I could have stayed more. I loved my short stay at Hotel Moniga.

Typical Italian breakfast with various pastries, juice and good coffee that could be served on the terraceVery kind and pleasant owners. Central location in the old quarter.

Location was walking distance to train station and all restaurants and stores in Desenzano del Garda. Also close to ferry terminal and beach. Room was a good size and very clean.

Mattress too soft so rolled towards middle of bed. Shower water pressure was a bit low. Woken by cleaner trying to get into room on the first morning at 8am, then 9 and again at 10. She was very persistent. There was no “Do Not Disturb” sign so we made our own and stuck to outside of door. Problem solved! ?

Hotel is in a great location , a short walk from the lake, boat harbour and town. It has a lift and is renovated with modern bathroom . Shower is small. Bed comfortable and has bedlamps. Good wifi. Small desk . Clothes Cupboard. Easy Italian breakfast every morning in the bar . Room cleaned daily . Only one PowerPoint to use for charging. Loved hearing the church bells . Quiet at night and room has a Shutter to keep out light and window opens fully. Acts as a local bar as the people drop in for coffee in the mornings . Owners genial.

small but very clean bathroom

My room was small but cute and modern. I actually really liked it. The hotel was conveniently located, couple minutes walk to the main walkway and very close to the promenade. There were complimentary pastries in the morning, which was a nice touch.

It was a bit noisy outside of my room as I was facing a small lane way that had an apartment building directly across but it didn't last too long. The bedding was thin so I was a bit cold when sleeping the first night That was resolved very quickly the next day as I requested a duvet. My room didn't have a full length mirror, which would have been nice to see my full outfit before heading out.

It's organized. You don't need the staff for anything.It's also very close to the road and center. Nice ambience too.

The bathroom was tiny. It was a hassle to shower.

loved the breakfast. great tea and coffee. toasties were lovely, and the croissants were delicious. the owners were amazing, lovely people. who went above and beyond to help you. could not get a taxi to take us to the airport so the owners got their lovely daughter and partner to take us there, if it was not for them we would have missed our flight, would not hesitate to stay there again.

not a lot,maybe some drawers and a safe as we were staying a week, but would not stop us staying there again, the nicest people we have met in all the years we have been traveling.

The property was clean, comfortable the staff were friendly and attentive. Great location. Great base to travel around lake Garda

Friendly host, quiet hotel in great location

Great B&B in a top location just by the main plaza and restaurants. It's a 5 minute walk to a nearby beach and to the ferry which is nice for day trips to other villages around the lake.Staff was great and helpful, everything was clean and working as expected. The room seems to have been recently renovated.

We missed a mini fridge in the room which would be good to keep cold beverages in the summer.

the lady owner was a delight, the room was clean serviced daily, great little bar aperol and local wine croissants& toasties in the morning .

Hotel staff went above and beyond to make us happy. The owner even drove us to the train station in her personal car after we couldn't get a taxi !

The shower box was rather small.

I liked everything about it!

Truly a great stay - staff were great and gave us everything we needed. The location is absolutely fantastic and the rooms were SO cool, it was genuinely a relief when we got back after a hot day! I know I've mentioned it but the location is a great selling point, so close to the lake and lots of great restaurants and bars. Very spacious and clean and great value for money! We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Nothing! A shame the rooms didn't have balconies but literally nothing the hotel can do about that! They do have a lovely outdoor area to eat and drink which makes up for it.

The owner and staff (might be family) was very friendly.

The aircondition is not working properly. Our last night we had 26 degrees in our room all night

Ideally located in the city centre within walking distance of the lake promenade. Delicious Italian breakfast with fresh pastries ?Very hospitable and attentive hosts. Beautiful modern room with comfortable beds and air conditioning, daily cleaning.

It would be nice if there was a small fridge in the room, but in relation to the price, it is not critical.
