Hotel Berta

It?s a quaint, boutique style hotel. We loved that it had a family room with four beds.

Amazing breakfast! Was grilled vegetable fish with capers that other great offerings!

Parking is difficult. The hotel underground parking is small. Nearby parking unlimited we had to park pretty far.

The breakfast was amazing--truly one of the best hotel breakfast spreads I've ever seen. The air conditioning was very good, and our room was a nice size with a nice balcony and view.

Even in July the pool was absolutely freezing, the parking was pretty difficult, and the location of the hotel isn't great if you're hoping to walk places. We had planned to walk or take the bus around to avoid driving, but there weren't many places reasonably walkable and the bus (which I know the hotel can't control) was not on any real or reliable schedule. The lake just outside the hotel was not really accessible, either, with the nearest beach being about 25 minutes walking.

Breakfast was by far the highlight of the hotel! They offer everything! Seafood, sausages, pork and beef cold cuts, fresh fruit, yoghurt and lots of more stuff. Truly an incredible spread!The room was good, but not particularly remarkable.

If I had to mention a few negatives: the shower space is a bit small, so it felt a little cramped. Also, I arrived late at night and there was nobody at the reception, plus no available parking. I had to park blocking another car.

Hotel is really nice, clean central location and the view from the rooftop is priceless

The staff was great, breakfast was the best I’ve had in 30 years traveling Europe, pool was a wonderful break, and the room was nice and cool.

Parking was a bit of work but not worth complaining about.

Okay for a brief stay

Place is a big tired, but has a nice pool area. Breakfast was fine.

Breakfast was amazing, the atmosphere and help especially. View is fantastic! And roof jacuzzi - perfect! They have bicycles and buss stops near. I'm very recommend that place, will stay there again.

Fabulous stay at Hotel Berta the staff were fantastic, perfect spot between Desenzano and Sirmione so walkable to both along the lake. The rooftop facilities were fabulous and we spent a relaxing day in the sun taking in the beautiful view of the Lake. The room was basic but had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful throughout the stay. Lunch was lovely too by the pool. Highly recommended

it would be helpful to remove chairs at ends of tables that block passage in the dining room.

If i may say something, their Parking availability. Even if they found one for us. Small elevator. Still very very quality/ price hotel

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Berta. The roof -top hot tubs to the excellent breakfast selection. Staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Very thankful for their help with transport and recommendations ?

Clean rooms, decent shower. Breakfast was good and the downstairs room for breakfast was nice and bright. Terrace on roof was nice too, good views.

Noise from the street was a lot in the morning as we were facing the road. The aircon didn’t work so we had to have the window open which didn’t help. The roof terrace was not open at night which was a shame. Overall location wasn’t great, too far from everywhere, took about an hour to walk to desenzano. Buses and taxis were unpredictable and didn’t run past 7.30, we used ITtaxi app which was unpredictable. Not much info from the staff upon check in about transport etc which would have been welcome.

Excellent hotel, lovely family run establishment .The rooms are very modern and comfortable, cleaned every day, jacuzzi and rooftop lounging area brilliant. Fantastic views of lake garda. Plenty of breakfast choices to choose from. Staff very helpful and friendly.

No Kettle to be able to make a drink in your room, drinks not always available in lounge area, kitchen was shut on one of the days and nearest shop, restaurant was good 15 min walk away, not always ideal when you've been out walking all day. Location is a bit out of the main areas and buses usually not on time or don't show up Breakfasts are lovely and a great variety but more hot food needed, maybe with lids over food to stop flies landing on it, as a bit off putting. Also would be helpful to provide a net by the jacuzzi to get The flies out before using. Fantastic Hotel and lovely staff but for these reasons I would not stay there again.

Close to the lake and just far enough away from the busy areas to make it a relaxing stay. Friendly helpful staff.clean . Has pool and hot tub. Free parking outside. Easy to find .

Only stayed one night , no issues.

staff were great, the room had lovely view over lake on the balcony, and the breakfast was excellent

The lovely reception lady Alexandra made all the difference. She was very kind, helpful, and answered all our questions with a huge smile on her face. In addition, the breakfast was diverse and tasty.

Really clean and friendly staff, some areas could be modernised like the beautiful roof top garden.

No A/C, coffee machine Or fridge

The hotel was very inviting from the minute we walked in. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was exquisite. So much variety. We were there 4 days and I didn't get to try everything. The pool was lovely. The bar had enough of a choice for us. We only had dinner 1 night and it was lovely. The hotel is located between Sermione and desenzano del garda so we took advantage of the bike hire and toured both areas.

I don't think there was anything I found unsatisfactory
