Hotel Antico Monastero

We are two bike packers who traveled by bike around the lake in October. There was no problem for storing our bikes, free of charge in the garage . Our room was clean and comfortable. The dinner we had the night we arrived was perfect. We wanted something light and we were a little afraid about eating in a hotel restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fresh muscles in their delicious homemade cherry tomato sauce . The prices are very reasonable, the service is professional and the environment is relaxed.

Not much really. Rude staff, inattentive, no service, could not understand them even tough speak about 4 languages. Bad service

The location was great, 10-15 mins walk down to the lakeshore and also in walking distance to some nearby restaurants and shops. The breakfast was very rich in options. Parking available onsite, but based on the time of arrival it might be full, however the staff allowed us to park in the garage next door the last night when we didn't find a parking.

The bed wasn't too comfortable and a bit outdated than what I would expect at a 4* hotel. Also the walls seem to be pretty thin so you can occasionally hear the guests from the neighboring room.

The staff were lovely especially Colin, they were very welcoming and couldn’t do more for you.The hotel was amazing but you will need a hire car or transport to explore

Not really anything we didn’t like but you will definitely need a hire car to explore.

I enjoyed the historic building, but this hotel is huge, multiple items for accommodation. The pool area is chained off to enable more tables.

The attitude of the waiting staff was poor. ?The cleaning staff were pleasant and helpful.✔️

Air conditioning was not working and the staff was rather condescending with the issue. It was never solved during a 8 day stay,they offered a standing fan. lack of choices regarding breakfast.

Cute hotel, quiet, peaceful. Loved the room with balcony, pretty roomy, comfy beds and a lot of storage space. Over 20 pieces of clothes hangers in a wardrobe. Very clean all over. Big pool and beautiful pool area. Good breakfast. Elevator is very handy. Friendly staff.

Some more sunbeds around pool would be nice and beter climatisation in rooms.

The reception staff and reception manager where lovely.The room was clean The best thing about this hotel was the road out of it

Great swimming pool. Convenient location for touring the lake. The A la carte menu was good.

The parking spaces were far too limited and meant that often impossible to get a space so don’t believe the hotel when it says you will be welcomed with parking for your car. One of the bathrooms in our room was ridiculously small.

The pool was perfect, the rooms were clean and spacious with lovely balcony. Lovely breakfast. Great location for access to lake Garda

There was very little sound proof between rooms and you could easily hear tv and conversation in the next room.

The location is great, close to beautiful beaches. The pool was clean and looked exactly like in the pictures. Enjoyed breakfasts - great variety and a lot of fresh fruit. Nice salad bar at dinner.

Our room had a shared balcony with other guests with no dividing so it was quite weird.

Location is okay. You can 20 minutes walk to the small village for restaurants or quicker just for pizza at the lake side

The receptionists could be friendlier. Seemed young and inexperienced in the basics of client interaction.

An horror movie would have been less scary

Location close by the lake but not facing the late, rooms are all dislocated Twins bed for a couple, no hot water available for the shower, no bidet available ( I mean we are Italians in Italy), the staff is terrible, they wanted to charge us an extra bill when we were not even at the hotel, saying they n front of all the clients that we hat to pay more for liquors. The apologizes after 20 minutes of argument when I offered to show the check of the restaurant I was at instead of there. So rude!!!!!!

Hard to find a parking space in the evening. Combined balcony, thin walls not a lot of sound insolation. The mattress was split in the middle.

This is a beautiful hotel with the great location, just a few minutes walk trough the camping area to the private beach. The breakfast was incredible! A great variety of local products, continental breakfast plus a lots of fresh fruits and chilled prosecco! The hotel restaurant was serving a good quality food, fish, pizza, pasta, etc. On the arrival there was a problem with the card terminal, so we have been asked to pay cash for the dinner, the next day the problem was sorted. The room we have been offered on the arrival wasn't great, as it didn't have a balcony, which we preferred, as we were staying with our dog. After our request, the next day we get a lovely room in the main building, with the balcony:)We just paid an extra 20 Euro per day for it, which was worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a free parking space available for almost every quest. We didn't have a chance t use a swimming pool, as we preferred a lake, but the swimming pool area looked very good. Our stay at Antico Monastero Hotel was very enjoyable and we will definitely come bac there in the future! Thank you Antico Monastero!

Located very close to the lake. Room was cleaned daily. Nice swimming pool. Kids disco in the evening was great.

Campsite right next to the hotel. Reception ladies not the friendliest bunch, not knowledgeable about area, didn’t want to speak English. I would rate this hotel as a three star, paint on the walls was peeling, picture below. Shower head was disgusting and needs changing. There was plenty of food, but not very tasty. The reason why I booked this hotel, was due to kids club and activities that I was hoping my son will get involved into. Kids club was good on one day when they played football. All other days kids sat on the iPads, teachers on their phones. So I played tennis with my son and he found another kid who played football with him. Very disappointing

We had no hot water in the first day shower then we moved to another building which were to close to the camping site and no Wifi at all.
