Hotel Villa Maria Au Lac - Gruppo Estella Hotels

Staff was extremely accommodating. They even allowed us to change to another room with a higher view. Excellent for paddle boarders and very pet friendly. Restaurant was also excellent.

The hotel sits directly on the shores of Lake Garda, offering private access to the lake. You’re not too far from great restaurants, in fact there is one right across the street. The staff are very nice and helpful. Rooms are good, and the bathrooms are newly renovated. Big hello to Mohammed, Diana, Sabrina, and all the great people working there!

The underground car park is quite narrow, and hard to get in. Also the dinner at the hotel's restaurant was not great in terms of quality per price

Wonderful location - you literally don't need to leave the territory of the hotel to have a great Garda expirience. Nice architecture and and direct access to the lake, enough space for all guests and calm environment. Super!

Stairs that heads to the water could be a bit safer and bit more comfortable.

The room smelled damp and musty, so we asked to be moved to another room, which was only possible after the second night. The bathroom floor gets wet after every shower. There are no convenient sockets in the room to plug in devices. The room and bathroom were full of mosquitoes

Great stuff, solving any issues quickly. Great location with access to the beach. Overall beautiful place, comfortable rooms.

Air conditioning didn’t work, but it was not made an bad experience, as we stays in the end of August.

Friendly reception. Terrace at the restaurant with nice view of the lake.

Cramped parking. The first night an alarm went off in the hallway. It kept going off so we wanted to call the reception. Unfortunately the phone turned out not to work. The room is unfortunately not up to standard. The outside door cannot open fully because the bed is in front of it. The air conditioning makes so much noise that it cannot be used at night. There is only one electrical socket in the room. The shower is very cramped. But the most annoying thing is that the drain does not drain the water. As a result, the whole bathroom soon gets completely flooded. So mopping all the time after showering. Of course reported to the reception. And of course a solution was promised. That solution turned out to be not the necessary repair but extra towels. So that we could mop every day of our stay. Not really the vacation feeling we were hoping for.

Breakfast is monotonous no great Italian food like white cheese hot food is not hot vegetables selection limited to cucumber and tomatoe - time for revamp! All the rest is great!

Amazing location, right on the beach. Fantastic views from the room/ balcony / restaurant. Lovely room with mezzanine floor for children.

Should advertise better that they have paddle boards/ boat for rent. Access to the lake could be better. Some restaurant staff needs training.

The only good things were breakfast staff and the parking.

Our room on the ground floor was absolutely terrible and this hotel really needs an upgrade. We would never reccommend anyone to stay here, sadly. Our room was mouldy (see picture), dark and outdated. There was no shower curtain and bathroom was always soaked. The floor panels were loose. It was surprising that they offer this room at all to people. Our guess is that the good reviews are for the suites and the bad reviews for regular rooms. The garden also looks really bad and they should hire a gardener. :)

The hotel is on the perfect location, small hotel beach is great for kids and not crowded. Breakfast was nice, room and balcony were completely fine for out 5 days stay. All facilities are clean and nice.Staff is very friendly and polite.All in all it was a great vacation.

Shower heads are not working the best, and the water isolation in the shower cabin is not good.

The hotel is beautifully situated with direct access to the lake. The staff has been wonderful in trying to make our stay as convenient as possible especially for my pregnant wife.

The hotel is somewhat outdated. Although the maintenance is pretty good. In some areas it could definitely need some renovation. A small tip for breakfast, which is primarily served on a big roof terrace: there are some parasols but they are for some strange reason not put above the breakfast tables.

The Villa is located near lake Garda. Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was very delicious with a lot of options. The water was crystal clear. All of us enjoyed our stay. I am sure that we will go back :)
