Pros +
- Location and the view of the lake is fantastic.
- Loved the view of the lake from our room. The room was very clean. Delicious breakfast buffet. The staff was very helpful with our WiFi connectivity too.
- Amazing location and incredible views. Quirky building but property a bit tired in places. WiFi virtually nonexistent and can hear next room quite clearly. Staff friendly and helpful and free parking is a bonus.
Cons -
- It seems like it could use a serious renovation.
- Swimming pool was not ready for swimming but they did not inform us about that earlier.
- Just got back from a trip there in early March, and it was pretty dead. Lots of places were closed up for the season. Kind of a bummer if you're looking for a bustling vacation. The nearest location that I could find foods was Maderno. This hotel has a lot of charm, but it's definitely showing its age. The furniture in my room felt like it belonged in a museum. They really need to update things, but hopefully, they can do it without losing the vintage vibe. Also, the shower pressure was seriously weak, which was a bummer. Overall, it was okay, but could be much better with some renovations.

View was mind blowing, very good breakfast and location is bit far from the nearest town but if you have car than no problem with anything.
Swimming pool was not ready for swimming but they did not inform us about that earlier.
Nice view nice staff very clean place .
This hotel is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. Being right by the lake means there's always fresh air. I found the peace and quiet so relaxing. It was exactly the kind of accommodation I was looking for. I'd definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

Excellent breakfast, superb location and view, staff hospitality
I cannot think of anything
Martine on reception was lovely and really helpful. The breakfast was also really good and sitting out on the decking to eat breakfast was a real treat. The location of the villa right on the lake is also great. We also enjoyed the use of the pool and the sunbed and shades were of a good quality.
I had read a few reviews that mentioned room 5 and not favourably. I tongue in cheek said to my husband bet we get room 5 and we did! The absolute worst thing that happened was that on two nights we were completely overrun with an infestation of some sort of fly. We quickly shut the bedroom door but didn't feel able for obvious reasons to use the bathroom. By the morning a lot of the flies were dead but they were all over the floor, in the shower, in the sink, all over the towels etc. I reported this to the villa, we were out for the day and when we came back it was all cleaned up and they apologised. We were fine that night but then the next night it happened again. This time we were not so quick in closing the bathroom door and had about 30 in the bedroom with us. I didn't sleep at all well and this was the last night before the journey home. I reported this again but heard nothing further. We did show the video of the files to Martine on reception. The furniture in the room is shabby. It appears that it was at some point maybe dark wood but someone has just painted over everything. Not sure if they were going for the shabby chic look but it missed the chic bit. The decking outside the room is spacious but you will get bitten alive - I appreciate this is not down to the villa. The partitioning between the room and the outside area of the dining room doesn't allow for any privacy. The decking around the top area (near where we had breakfast) is rotten and I think it is a matter of time before someone puts their foot through it.I can imagine that in its day the villa was stunning but it does look very tired. As previous reviews have said you can't walk out of the villa as there are no pavements, it is a sharp turn in and we did miss this the first time and had to carefully look out for it when we returned from our day's out.
swimming pool and lake view
Aircon only in one room, little fridge very small and insufficient space\work. Condition of outside deck is horrendous and dangerous with screws sticking out. Sofa bed very uncomfortable.
The location is wonderful, very calm.
The villa is very old and noisy on the groung floor. The rooms are very close to each other, the walls are thin, you can hear even what the other guest are talking about in the other room.
Lovely lake views from the balcony.Common area spacious, though not very comfortable and not clean.Among the staff, Martina was very helpful and took our feedback, though little she could do immediately.Owners need to spend some serious money to improve maintenance of property and grounds.Four Star this is NOT
Room much smaller than advertised and sparsely furnished, no chair. Dark furniture painted white and badly chipped. Not enough electrical sockets for all the appliances. En suite in very poor condition, mould in shower and several areas of sealant missing. Plug mechanism for wash basin and bide both broken. Shower cabinet very small and shower head rail loose. Outdoor decking in poor state of repair and limited view of lake due to overgrown garden. 3 items of fitness equipment outside on terrace, is not a gym!No staff on site after 7pm, bar not manned at all. Pool needing cleaned and sun parasols in poor state.
Just the most amazing views from the room and breakfast. Lovely lounge, pool is always empty, dog-friendly, private parking, very clean, AC and self-check in. We’ve gone back twice now.
Property is a bit dated and quite pricey. Breakfast is very simple.
I loved that the annex was away from the hotel so nice and quiet
The annex is old, and an old, probably disabled person live here previously, your seatbelt is, it was slightly smelling of damp and there was an amount of mold stains on the tiles. But that did not ‘dampen’?? our stay. The whole of the hotel complex is in need of maintenance but I’m sure as the season gets going it will improve.
The location is simply perfect. The view from the balcony in the room on the second floor is amazing, you can sunbathe on the balcony, and the waves are right below it. Beautiful, green, clean mini-park.The style is country, with old furniture and design from the 90s.
Very strange style of hotel management. At 19:30 there is no staff present at all. We checked in, and at 22:00 the electricity in the rooms went out, the emergency telephones indicated on the front door did not answer. I had to look with my neighbor from the next room in all the rooms for a cabinet with automatic switches. Breakfast - it's better to go somewhere to eat. There is no Wi-Fi Internet (the hotel employee also admitted this), use a cellular operator. The TV in the room is very old, for some reason there are two tuners, it is not clear which one is connected to the TV. There are extension cords in outlets sockets extenders everywhere, which is unsafe. To turn on the kettle you need to turn off the refrigerator :/ If you want to eat in the evening, either take food with you or go to neighboring towns. Refrigerator size for 3 bottles 0.5. litersIf it weren’t for the proximity to the lake and the gorgeous view, I would give it a 3.
Amazing place at the lake, with the view to the lake. Nice and green surounding. Very pleasant and kind staff. Like at home. Good and tasty breakfast.
Fantasctic personel, very helpful and warm :) Breathtaking views from the room and terrace
water stream in the shower very poor, litle bit worn furniture
Staff super friendly, super helpfull, breakfast was plentiful and the location is very quite just as we like it. Beautiful spot.
The building and the rooms need some attention in particular there are not enough power plugs in the room. A bit tired.
Amazing view, spetacular welcome greeting, lovely staff
Everything
Friendly and helpful staff! very clean, amazing view, fast check-in check-out.
breakfast options, room noise isolation
