Pros +
- Nice location. The hotel has a very interesting style and vibe. Friendly hosts and good coffee in the morning. Would recommend to family/friends. Car is necessary because it's a bit outside of the city.

- Stuff is more then polite
Cons -
- For me the bed was too hard, but my partner thought is was good. A matter of opinion.
- Wifi was very bad in the roomIn the lobby was perfect
- The restaurant was closed when I was there probably because it is the Italian holiday season and they are on vacation. Great place to have dinner once the restaurant opens up.

Great location just off via romea. Next door to salt fields and is very quiet. Room was big and bed was an antique with ceiling and bathrooms were modern and new. Hotel is like a museum with many antiques and outside is a display under glass of Roman artifacts that were found there.

The location and the "antique" vibe to it. A hotel is ok, ut something unique like the mansion and everything around it it gives a really nice vibe to it
Everything was nice
Hotel is really old.
Booking.com have not accurate describtion of hotel, service and not accurate photos of rooms. In real is much worse. Booking.com cut contact when you try to complain.
Great location, interesting character, very quiet, flamingoes
A bit dated, wardrobe takes a lot space in the room, no safe box in rooms
Fantastic location surrounded by the salt pans. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the unique vibe of the place which is situated on an antique site. While amenities were a little sparse (no minibar, no restaurant), free coffee and cake was offered for breakfast, and the daily room cleaning service was excellent. Only about a 6-minute drive away from Cervia's beaches, without the business. Tranquil, charming place. As an extra bonus, a lovely restaurant featuring local specialities is only a short walking distance away.
A minibar or kitchenette in the rooms would have been perfect. The wifi dropped out on the first two days of our stay. Other than that, everything was fine.
Arrived during a major storm and it was not unlike turning up at Frank N Furters castle (if you know, you know) and were met by the suits of armour in reception. The mirrors hidden discreetly behind false wardrobe doors in the bedroom were...interesting. fitting with the padded leather door to meet that bordello aesthetic.Super quirky. Loads of parking. Easy to find.
Beds were harder than nails. Asthmatic air con. Bathroom basic and dated.
Amazing location and landscape. Free espresso and sweets.
Noisy bed.
Very pleasant staff.Wonderfully quirky decoration
No bread, only cakes at breakfast.
I only regret about staying one night instead of a week. The hotel is exceptional and authentic with nice rooms that have seen some history and yet spark and function well. It is surrounded by salt production facilities, which are basically ponds with thousands pink flamingo. Environment and wildlife is amazing there and we'll as amazing was our rest. Thanks for all!
Hard to come up with anything.
The hotel is nice with a historical atmosphere and helpful staff.
The room was nice, but our bed was very uncomfortable and the heating system was noisy.
Great, peaceful place. Clean was perfect and staff kind.
Very authentic old building, restored with love, Coffee in the morning (+cake) and at arrival. Location is outstanding and interesting. If you like it quite, thats a good place to calm down.
The hotel is in a great location, it's a peaceful and quiet area, the surroundings are beautiful. It's easy to get to by car, there were plenty of parking spots available. The hotel has a very old school vibe to it, feels like from an old Italian movie - I liked that a lot. The rooms were clean, you could feel that some things were dated, but it was a good experience overall - nothing fancy, but at a good price point.
The location on the salt pans and a certain old world charm to the hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful and my room was fairly cheap.
I hadn't realised that the only route on foot from Cervia was along a very busy main road and roundabout. There was an alternative path which involved ignoring no entry signs and skirting around gates but this was only feasible in daylight. My single room was somewhat basic, a water glass would have been appreciated for instance. There was a huge and very noisy air conditioning unit on the wall which I managed to do without. My bed was both narrow and short. The same cakes appeared day after day for breakfast, and a single fresh croissant would have been far preferable.
very pretty setting on fosso, lots of wildlife, very quiet at night, pretty antiques nice oldbuilding.
needs someupdating, the padded bedroom door was a little 1960s and creepy.
knights in armour in the hallway
lack of electricity for 6 hours
Location is amazing, next to the main attraction: the salinas. The hotel decoration is very special. The staff is very kind. I recommend this hotel.
The location is super but it is not walk-in distance from the beach (which is an advantage because you are away from the tourists).
