Sercotel Alfonso XIII

The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the city center and easily accessible by public transport, which made traveling very convenient.The room was spacious, well-furnished, and provided a comfortable environment for relaxation.The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep throughout my stay.

While the hotel’s location and the city’s attractions make it a popular choice for guests from diverse cultures and religions, I noticed that the washrooms do not have a Muslim shower (bidet spray). I would suggest adding this facility, as it would be very convenient for guests who prefer water for hygiene instead of toilet paper. This small addition would enhance comfort for many visitors and reduce the need for alternatives like water bottles.

The property and the room are first class. Gorgeous room.

The only thing I didn’t realize was the cathedral bells ring every 15 minutes until midnight. We are right next to the bell tower

Location, friendly staff

Terribly maintained, false advertising (excellent photographs very far with reality).The hotel looks tired, unkept, and projects total lack of interest and respect to its customers, for 172€ a night in weekday, no holiday, low season, it was really mot worth it

This property was in the perfect location, minutes away from the old town. What’s lovely surprise. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Great breakfast too! You’ll love it here!

I arrived at 2 am after a storm and thunders .. driving all day from Pyrenees. I was told they have parking . I was exhausted and I was told to park in the street at 2 am … How do you park and where at 2 am in a city you do not know .. Poor guidance and misleading parking in webpage.

The staff particularly the lovely girl in restaurant she was so busy and still smiling ?

The double bed we had was great. Nice to have proper quality tea and coffee available at the room.

The bedroom was nicely decorated but was missing a little more dimmed light for a romantic atmosphere. The living room was very basic in design and not attractive to stay in.

Aircon made the room smell of cigarettes. Sunday breakfast at 10am....no bread, bacon, eggs.....no tables as they hadn't been cleared....they topped up food...but no butter, no spoons...very poor

Acoustic between rooms was poor. Loud noise from TV on upper floor. Tea should include Earl Grey tea.

Quiet room even though on Main Street.

We would have preferred a dining room and a bar, the cafeteria was limited.Breakfast was adequate .

The receptionist at night was very pleasant and helpful.The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was in top of every detail and request to assist.I will definitely come back to the hotel.

Has been my go-to hotel at Cartagena for past couple of years and I’ve always had exceptional experience here. The staff are efficient and friendly, the rooms are large and comfortable and has always been a great value for money.

Very nice spacious and comfortable room with excellent breakfast. Very good coffe, muesli, fruits, eggs, cheese. Welcome water.

Cleanliness was not good. We have found woman hair in the bathroom on the floor and on bed lined.

Location and in site parking. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.Our room was ready when we arrived before the check in time.

The cigarette smoke that came through the window we were on the 3rd floor and couldn’t see where it was coming from but we could not have our window open.
