- The view was amazing of the Dolomites. It was a very quiet location. Breakfast was fantastic.
- Hotel Cristallo is a very warm and welcoming hotel. The staff and owners were very helpful and polite. The rooms are large and comfortable. It was a very nice stay.
Cons -
- Staff were not so pleasent. Breakfast was too poor.
- Skiroom is on the outside of the property and is not locked. Breakfast is OK by Italian standards, but you may still find it lacking compared to what you may find in northern Europe.
- There wasn’t much I didn’t like. The hotel overlooks the main road and is a little out of town. But the main road still offers a gorgeous view of the mountains behind and Vigo is only 5mins walk uphill in normal shoes. This is a quiet area though. People looking to be closer to the lifts of the Sella Ronda circuit or somewhere with more après ski and nightlife might prefer to be up in Campitello or Canazei though. Your trade off is more people to queue for lifts and restaurants with.

Rooms were comfortable, suitably equipped and quiet. Extremely good value considering the pricing of the accommodation.

The hotel was very clean and everything worked as you would hope. We had a lovely room, which was far bigger than we’re used to, it was warm, had a great shower - just very comfortable. The hotel staff were all very friendly polite and helpful. The breakfast was a decent continental breakfast. There were warm croissants and other pastries, yoghurt, jams, cheese, ham, fruits, muesli etc etc There was also scrambled eggs. The juice was OK but not real 100% pure fruit juice. The breakfast area had a bean to cup machine but while the espresso and lingo were fine I think the Americano was made differently somehow and did not taste fresh. So I’d suggest choosing espresso and adding water. Overall I was very satisfied with breakfast. There was a sauna which I used a lot. It was great. It is a small ‘wellness’ room and I was often the only person there - so with many people it might have been a different story. That’s not a complaint though - this is a small hotel and it was more than I would have hoped for. The hotel has a bus stop for the ski buses right outside and the hotel staff can advise on which buses to take. You will need to buy a ticket - available in advance at the hotel or on the bus for a single fare - tickets do get checked sporadically. The times the buses go and knowing which direction they are going in can be confusing.

Very clean and comfortable traditional hotel. Good value and helpful staff. Handy for ski bus, free parking. Quiet hotel.
A bit of a hike uphill to village centre and village ski lift, but manageable.
Free breakfast every morning was a nice touch plus the sauna was really nice after long day of snowboarding. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. You can order cappuccino in the lobby and play games/chill there, it was a nice space.
It's a bit far if you want to do sella ronda circuit although there is bus that'll take you to where you need to be.
Room with a view.
Staff was unfriendly. I got the impression that they didn't want to be there - both the receptionist and breakfast server. The breakfast was uninspiring.
The staff is very nice and the location is near to the bus station. The one who rely on public transport recommended to book this hotel. The scenery around the place also beautiful.
The place is spotless, staff helpful and friendly and the location ideal for peace and quiet. Very close to the gondola and convenient to stores.
Owner was very helpful
Breakfast was a bit simple. The woman supervising the breakfast was a bit off-putting. No smile, minimal conversation. Just standing there like a robot.
Many ski buses stop in front of the door.Generous parking.Several restaurants within walking distance.Solid wood, generous furniture in the room.Elevator in the building.
The lady at the breakfast was obnoxious. She kept changing our table every 1-2 days.Facilities are rather dated, including VHS and CD players.
Everything was perfect. Clean, comfortable, great location, quiet and relaxing, very nice breakfast
The hotel is located in a picturesque place. Good breakfast in the mornings. There is excellent Terme in few minutes by car from the hotel. Friendly staff, which are happy to explain if any questions.
No issues
It was very well prepared and tasty. The ingredients were of good quality. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Beautiful setting, with views of the mountains.Clean roomsLovely food in restaurant
The decor was a little dated.
The hotel is fairly nice. Not new but comfortable. The breakfast was good and they also made an effort to gather some gluten-free product for me.
Why did I state that the hotel did not meet my expectation: for my snow holidays I always choose hotels with sauna or spa. The hotel states that they have a sauna, but I was not able to use it as, due to covid reasons, the sauna could have been utilized by just one (1) room per day...... I was not lucky enough to reserve it in advance (who could have thought about the 1 room per day rule) so I had to pay to go to the public spa (which, funnily enough, was open to a crowd of people despite covid). From my point of view the hotel does not have a sauna despite it advertises it.
For a pair of skiers this hotel is close to the mark! The ski bus stops 10 m from the front door, and skis and boots are stored in a separate room with a workbench available. The atmosphere is homey and the staff are very kind and helpful.
For me the heating was a little different? In the morning the heat went up, so after breakfast the room temperature was unbearable. That said, I don’t like high temperatures indoors, as I know some people do. This was easily rectified with the use of the balcony though, where the view is fantastic!
Clean and simple
Very limited breakfast options
Clean. 10 meters to the skibus stop.
