Its location makes it the perfect starting point for outdoor adventures year-round. The village center with its small shops and restaurants is also easily accessible on foot. The rooms and suites combine Tyrolean charm with stylish furnishings and breathtaking mountain views. Rooms feature Wi-Fi, a mini-bar, satellite TV, and some have a balcony. The restaurant serves international cuisine as well as traditional Austrian and Tyrolean dishes. The ¾ gourmet board includes a breakfast buffet, afternoon tea with coffee, tea, soft drinks, and cake. A four-course dinner is served in the evening. A six-course gala dinner is offered on Fridays and Sundays. The water park features a large panoramic swimming pool, indoor and outdoor whirlpools, and a children's pool. The sauna area (accessible to guests aged 15 and over) features various saunas, a steam room, an infrared cabin, a blue whirlpool grotto, and several relaxation rooms. A variety of massages and treatments are also available. Free parking is provided on site. Innsbruck is 16 mi away, and the Stubai Glacier is 11 mi away. The Spa was incredible! We are from the states and haven't ever experienced a European Spa before. We were nervous but once we did it the first time, we kept coming back! We went in September, the weather was beautiful and the views were outstanding! There is a Gondola right outside the hotel, buses make it easy to travel and are just a two minute walk from the hotel, the staff is very kind. We were backpacking for over a week before we got to this hotel and we were feeling very rugged after a full day of travel. When we checked in, we were given "welcome drinks" at the bar while a bell hop took our bags up to our room. We instantly were relaxed and felt taken care of.Our stay at Sporthotel was the highlight of our visit to Innsbruck.
We did have issues too with water escaping the shower so we had to be careful but the shower/bathroom was so nice, we even installed blue lights when we got home because of how fun they were in our bathroom!
The highlight of our holiday The food was amazing, the staff were so professional, and the owner is ever-present. As good as any 5 star hotel.
Absolutely nothing to dislike.
Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The beautiful location, the wonderful facilities with spacious rooms, a great pool and outdoors area, and a very impressive spa. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was amazing.
The staff were hospitable and even changed our room due to it being very warm at night. The beds were a medium-firm and of good quality. The food is very good and varied.
It gets hot in the room at night in the summer. The pillows in all the Austrian hotels we stayed at weren’t very good.
One of our best holiday we've ever had! Great staff, suberb food and spacious wellness area.
The service at the hotel was wonderful. Every single day, a member of the family checked in with us to see if everything was okay. Special mention to our waiter Phillipp who I think eats sunshine and rainbows for breakfast as he is the most cheerful person we have ever encountered. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was delicious - a huge breakfast buffet and a 4-6 course dinner every night (& extra portions offered, not that I think anyone could ever eat more!)We had a two bedroom suite which was large and comfortable with extensive storage, just what is needed on a family ski holiday with lots of equipment. The water and wellness areas were vast and brilliant. The kids loved the indoor pool and we enjoyed the saunas after a long day on the slopes.
The decor of the hotel is now old fashioned in parts. However, it is not at all “tired” - it is of the highest quality and has clearly been lovingly cared for and maintained and is still immaculate.
Property was clean, had nice facilities and it was central to supermarkets and some shops for rental! Easy to get around with their shuttle plus the local bus being a 5 min walk away
We had a very unpleasant experience with the staff here and felt CATFISHED with our room. We had booked a two bedroom suite for three of us. Please be aware that the room isn’t as pictured or described!! There are two bedrooms, one bedroom being “master” with a two seater sofa and a coffee table in it. It is not two separate bedrooms and a living with a fireplace. Additionally, we discovered that although it was a two bedroom suite, the price we paid didn’t include a third person… so we were charged basically the cost of an extra room, with a 2 euro discount… considering room is big enough to host at least 3 people it was extremely disappointing! However when we tried to talk to the staff about it and understand their reasoning we got SHUNNED! They completely ignored us!!! On a separate occasion I had requested a kettle for the room and some mugs, also met with hostility because I couldn’t remember the exact room number…. Also it is not ski in ski out! The hotel is in center so unless there is a lot of snow you will definitely have to drag your stuff to the gondola, which is the smallest ski resort in the area…. With only two chairlifts. Do not recommend spending so much here….
Excellent food and helpful, friendly staff. The location is convenient for the public ski bus and especially noteworthy is the hotel’s shuttle to the glacier ski area.
Very expensive wine and no house wine offered. When we asked about this the response was that they only provide a higher standard of wine.
V good meals served….lovely afternoon tea and cakesLoved the use of the pool and sauna area which we used everyday after a long day sightseeingEverything about our stay at the hotel was excellent
Food - The breakfast was very goodSki experience - The hotel had shuttles in the morning and afternoon for people in the hotel to the Stubai Mountain, free of charge.Regarding gear rental there’s 2 rental stores near the hotel where I renten a Snowboard, helmet and boots.Location - Near a couple good bars and restaurants, 10 min walk.Stay - Big room with a balcony. Comfortable.
The personel is extremely friendly, we felt right at home. The breakfast was the best selection, most fresh and so delicious. The spa has multiple cabins to choose from. We had a lot of privacy. The gala 6 course diner was amazing and surprisingly cheap!
Breakfast, lots of variety. Eggs cooked to order included pancakes, waffles, omelettesExtra things that showed care e.g. daily information re what was happening in the hotel, area, weather forecast; glass of wine on arrival; friendly staff who were able to give us important information about the area e.g. use of the Stubai supercardOur room had a lovely view of the Elfer Spitze. The balcony had a sunshade as well as table and chairs.Fridge in the room.
The staff was very helpful and nice. Everyone we met was great, with no exceptions. The spa facilities are really nice, cozy, and well maintained. We frequented the spa amenities every day, it was the highlight of the trip. The hotel in general had a warm Christmas vibe and a beautiful mountain surrounding. We will repeat this hotel next time we travel to this area.
Very nice hotel with lovely atmosphere and a lot of love for the detail. The food, the Spa area and the room were excellent. There was even live music at the bar on Saturday evening. The staff at the reception, bar and in the restaurant was very polite and helpful. There were a separate room for the ski equipment.
The spa closes at 19:30 p.m. and dinner finishes at 20:30 p.m. So for guests coming back to the hotel from skiing at around 06:00 p.m. there is not enough time to really enjoy the Spa and the swimming pool. 30min-60min more would make it much more comfortable. Furthermore I found the behavior of many guests at the Spa completely unacceptable. Some of them watched YouTube videos on their mobile phone’s without headset or had a phone call in the relax area. From my point of view, mobile phones should not be allowed in the Spa area. Due to the different cultural backgrounds of the guests a spa rules instruction at check-in could help to avoid such behavior in future.
Everything. The location, the ambiance, the spa is amazing, the staff are so friendly and polite and they went out their way to accommodate my serious coeliac disease with gluten free modified meals which were superb. The rooms very clean and spacious and cleaned well everyday.
Only the price of wines offered at dinner. And gin very expensive compared to England
The Spa area was fantastic and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The food was also great, with an early breakfast accommodated for the running event. The location is ideal for all activities in this beautiful village/setting.
Location, staff, ambience, fantastic breakfast every morning. We were very comfortable indeed.
