mama couldn't have made a better fitting into the scenery crib. A funky place. With a good vibe. Pretty informal.Very kind and good willing staff (I even got checked in upon arrival, pretty early in the day, thank you, warm smile blonde lady). The "lobby" feels like a mountain sports hub with people continuously coming in or going out. The escalade concept is a nice touch both indoors and outdoors. Oh, the room, yes! You feel like in a hut with its own cave (the bath area). Mine had a sauna, too, though I haven't used it. Nothing pretentious, everything casual and coherent with the modern approach of traditional and wooden all around the hotel. I would stay there again when snowboarding or biking.

The fried onion & cooked stuff odour everywhere in the reception area due to the open kitchen right there. Win some, smell some :)

Excellent location, the staff is very friendly, welcoming and ready to help you out whenever you want. Drinks and food were delicious. It’s just so comfy and you’ll love the tiny details of the place. We had a white Christmas as well!

There were no slippers in the room is my only complaint.

Rooms were quite small Extreme loud DJ until past midnight! I could not sleep at all until late in the night…Also beds were uncomfortable for me, but this is always individual.In total too expensive and there is extra charge for the sauna which should definitely be included in the price.

Location is great and getting passes for the gondola is a great perk. Breakfast was fantastic.

Needed a little more explanation as to how things work at check in. We found a sauna room but no instructions as to how to work it. We had stayed there before and some things are looking very tired. The woodwork throughout has discoloured and doesn’t seem as fresh. Property seems a little cluttered as you approach. Needs to be straightened up a bit.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent food and sauna. Very close to gondola. Perfect place to play and relax.

Our first time visiting and we came without a car. A little bit more difficult to get to than we expected.

Our experience at this hotel was brilliant! The staff were helpful and the common areas were stylish. The room (close to heaven) was really lovely, with a comfy bed, a big walk in wardrobe and a huge balcony with a hot pot. The hot pot was wonderful and perfectly heated. We ate dinner and lunch in the hotel and both were fabulous (lots of vegan and veggie choices) and the breakfast was great too, with loads of choice including an excellent omelet station.

Only one tiny issue was the service person who was going to clean the room walked in (at the same time as knocking so couldn't stop it) when the do not disturb sign was on and it was still well before the check out time, if we had not been dressed or something that could have been really awkward.

Mama Thresl is a modern hotel with a cool mountain flair. everything is very beautiful and well thought. the rooms are all in wood and smell wonderfully and the common facilities are very nicely curated. in particular the wellness area is very very stunning (and only costs 10€ for your whole stay)! the breakfast is yummy and huge! the staff is kind and always available, they offer a million of suggestions on this to do and experiences -mostly for free! we took great advantage of the card that they provide with your stay (discounts as well as free use of the cable cars twice per day or free entrance to the lake club) and we loved the distillery tour as well as the Pilates classes held in the stunning location of the sister-structure Priesteregg! We had a wonderful stay!

we did not think it was a problem, but it’s worth pointing out that the hotel is very young and cool, so in the reception/bar&restaurant you will find people enjoying dinner or drinks until late. the rooms are still very quiet, but then you should reconsider if you are looking for something more quiet!

Hotel room ground floor faced parking lot and main street. trucks/ very loud. our balcony swing was missing, we could not get a room with a bath tub that I asked for with my booking. Food was not really to my liking. vegan options for food positive, but too greasy. seating at dinner was without options, again, windy and next to parking lot. not a nice atmosphere, sorry.
