Hotel Bayerisch Meran

Older Gasthof, rooms partially updated.

Located on a main road with lot of traffic.

Room was clean, comfort, we have a lot of place in room for our 2 year old.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms though some furnishings look a bit tired. Would stay again

Cosy hotel in small town, great value for money, fast check in, good breakfast, tasty coffee from coffee machine and tasty cakes, choise of tasty salads, hot buns, , tasty juices, comfortable bed and shower, modern bathroom and very soft towels, good heating with autonomic regulation

Lack of the staff during the breakfast, only one girl running all around so we had to wait for mugs and some food, but it's worth waiting

The bed was comfortable, the room is big, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is great!!

Very nice view (this time to the countryside, not onto the mountains, but both options are nice - we know that from our previous stays). We went for a very pleasant walk in the morning, in the direction of Wendelstein. Good breakfast. Convenient location on the way to Italy.

Using shower requires at least Ph.D. degree in engineering - I mean the number of knobs was incredible and the final result was not satisfactory (water was pouring out of all holes, irrespectively of our efforts). But we can live with that. There is no personnel at the reception in the evening but the key was waiting in the envelope.

Perfect as a stop when travelling from belgium to austria. Near the highway. Pizzeria on walging distance and good breakfast

Toilet was not flushing properly.

Handy over night stop while traveling from Croatia to England. Comfortable room very quite and near to the town center. Good breakfast. This is our 5th stay and will be back again

The toilet didn’t flush very well but that’s been the same the last 4 years so it must be the plumbing

Smoky

The location is gorgeous. We had two rooms for our family. The double room faced the mountains and had a small balcony. The single room faced the fields behind with a good view of the parking lot and some sweet, Bavarian cows. The hotel was able to accommodate us with having the rooms close to each other. There were a few restaurants within walking distance for dinner. After dinner, we all stood on the balcony and watched a thunderstorm come in over the mountains. The door to the balcony opens fully or to vent to allow the cool, mountain air to come in at night. We listened to the rain and the river. We had brought our own fan for ventilation, which was needed. The room on the back side of the hotel was warmer.

While it is stated, there is not anyone around after early afternoon for questions. The beds were extremely soft in the double room, just a large piece of foam. Each bed had only one pillow. Two pillows each would have been ideal, but no one at the desk to ask for extras. Water pressure was not great so the showers were adequate. My one suggestion for the breakfast would be to have a toaster, but maybe that is just a cultural thing.

Breakfast was nice! The family room was very large, and perfect for families with kidscheck-in was smooth and well prepared. We asked for an extra baby bed, and it was perfectly set up and perfectly made up.

The 2 rooms weren't separated with a door. So, we needed to go to sleep together with our kids. We could watch television or have a game night amongst us two because we were unable to make any noise or light.
